"In Da Club" fue la primera de las siete pistas que 50 Cent grabó con el Dr. Dre en solo cinco días. Originalmente planificada como una canción D12 para la banda sonora de 8 Mile, el productor Dr. Dre tocó el instrumental para 50 que inmediatamente escribió la letra de la canción en una hora y grabó la mayor parte de la voz esa noche.
De acuerdo con The Billboard Book Of Number 1 Hits, al elegir qué canción debería ser el single principal de Get Rich o Die Tryin, Eminem prefirió "If I Can’t". Pero cuando 50 le preguntó a Dre su opinión, optó por "In Da Club". Después de lanzar una moneda, se eligió "In Da Club".

Desconozco cómo funciona KZfaq, pero Shady Traducciones por ejemplo lo tiene pero en su descripción indica a quién pertenece los derechos de la canción, así que supongo que el beneficio va directamente al que tiene los derechos y no al canal.
