One of the big takeaways from this interview that really hits me, is that 50 understood the value of his brand and knew that he needed to evolve beyond his genesis in order to keep his success. Its a profound self-awareness that you see get lost with so many talented people, especially KZfaq creators. They fail to diversify beyond the initial push they get, and then end up falling apart. 50 is a brilliant man with an amazing business acumen.

OMG! I could just die and go to heaven right now. Maybe that was heaven? Hah! Ari Melber is my News Jam for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is that I consider him a kindred spirit. I am a 58 year-old white American woman, retired intellectual (former teacher of Academic Writing and English Literature at a major American university), lifelong liberal Democrat, and avid fan of Rap and Hip Hop music, as well as several other musical genres. 50 Cent is brilliant, wise, funny, real, and just excellent in so many ways I would not even try to begin any kind of comprehensive list because I would fail miserably. Kudos to the folks at Fox for offering him your platform because he is going to be successful and make money for somebody, so it might as well be you. "See, this is why he [Ari Melber] belongs to us." Word. That was so much fun to watch. So, so good. Thank you. : )

I appreciate the love ari shows to black urban and hip hop culture. Be it the lyrical references in his presentations or interviews like this one. His appreciation for hip hop and the black urban component of American culture feels genuine. I think that's dope.

#1 interview in a long mile and minute. No gossip, no shade, no cap did I detect in the questions or answers. Ari & 50 has done the HIP-HOP community a great happy service. I was not aware of all of 50's current achievements in the TV industry. Funny thing is that I've binge-watched the first season of each: BMF and POWER this month and this is only barely touching his amazing accomplishments. 👏🏾 I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you both. Excellent job you guys. Godspeed Always

What's amazing to me is how 50 Cent makes those around him great. I'm glad he's getting respect on a higher level and is not throwing up signs and peeking through one eye, but is his own man. Good for him!

I remember burning get rich or die trying albums on CDs back in junior high school 😂 , always loved 50 and his endeavors. The shows are a huge success and I’m happy to watch all of em. All of his shows are absolute fire. The power universe are some of my favorite shows , the story lines, the actors, the production. One season would end and a new shows season would start , so I always get my fix.

Wow this special. From street to cooperate without the traditional you know who’s to help. He’s been making the treatments for these shows since he was a rapper. It’s amazing to watch your dreams come to fruition. I admire respect and am happy for him as a man. A man with all the odds stacked against him that could’ve turned his misfortune to more poor choices but he used it as fuel and got tunnel vision and his goals. God bless him. I pray he keeps winning

I watched this entire video which is something I don’t think I would have done 10 or 15 years ago. It’s awesome to see the Man that 50 has evolved into. I watch almost every show 50 is apart of & I refer to him now as a genius. Let me be very clear, he didn’t just become a genius we all new he was an amazing rapper but now the World see’s him as simply an amazing human. An amazing human who happens to be a genius. I’m 53 and I’m in awe of your body of work. Hats off to you 50 & continued blessings. #1

This feels dope as an ex felon, turn college grad who grew up watching and looking up to fifty. Do the VERY same, in fact this brother set the precedent on the hunger and talent dudes from the ghetto have to become savvy businessmen 🙌🏾. 50 could’ve crashed out or not learn to pivot, but he let the young guys get they shine and made moves to more lucrative ventures like Vitamin Water & Power.
