Alright, I'll admit, this did teach me a few things I didn't know, like the logo curliness. Well done indeed. I'm especially amused by Sora being 36 if he aged real time with the series. He'd still be younger than me. By a single year, but it's funny to think that we'd almost be the same age since the first game was especially special to me when it first came out. I still remember being a goofy fifteen year old at the time thinking that Disney was going to "ruin Final Fantasy" and speculating from a magazine that Hollow Bastion was a Beast's Castle world and that the game would suck. And then I played it and fell in love with Disney stuff all over again, and while there are some later things in my life that are not so good when associated directly with Kingdom Hearts -- a few big mistakes that I deeply regret in particular -- for the most part it's been a positive thing in my life and something I've had fun trying to keep up with as I could throughout its various console ways. I never thought I'd see it come to PC the way it has in the past couple of years, but wow am I glad it finally did. If only it had come to PC from the start, I could've avoided having to buy PSPs and 3DSes and a PS4 even just for this series!

Other KH facts you need to know! - In KH1, Aya Brea from Square's "Parasite Eve" was supposed to be part of Leon's team but she was replaced by Aerith at the request of someone from the original FFVII team. - Tifa was supposed to be a secret boss in KH1 in a cup of her own like Sephiroth but she was cut either for time constraints or because they probably wanted her to have an actual role in the story like she would eventually have in KH2. - A world based on Atlantis: The Lost Empire was almost added to KH1, which Nomura said it would've been a good way to promote the movie, but it was scrapped because the world would've had a lot of vehicle sections that were already filled by the Gummi Ship and he could find a way to connect its story to the main game's. - The KH manga features quite a bit of suggestive content not seen in the games, like Larxene reading a book by Marquis de Sade, a writer known for his incredibly graphic and depraved sexual stories and is where the word "sadism" comes from, Sora finding out Mulan's a woman by accidentally seeing her breasts when she was bathing and Sora being seduced by a prostitute when he arrives at Traverse Town. - In the pilot for the canceled Kingdom Hearts animated series by Seth Kearsley, Sora is NOT voiced by Haley Joel Osment but rather by Bobby Edner who would later be known for voicing Vaan in FFXII. - Also in said pilot, Frank Welker reprised his role as the Cave of Wonders whereas in the actual games the Cave never speaks like it does in the movie. - Kathryn Beaumont is not the only VA in the series who worked with Walt Disney, as Piglet in KH1 was voiced by John Fiedler, his original VA from the old Winnie-the-Pooh shorts and movies. - For the longest time it was believed that Geoffrey Rush reprised his role as Barbossa in the Australian version of KH2 but this was proven to be false. - Despite being bosses, neither Ursula or Julius have journal entries in Dream Drops Distance despite every other character and enemy having one. Weirdly, Chernabog's ghosts have their own entries but only in the Japanese version of the original 3DS release of the game. - If you closely at the posters for the Classic Kingdom minigames in Twilight Town, you'll see that apparently the Mickey Mouse cartoons were produced in-universe by Ludwig Von Drake, a long-time recurring Disney character. - The role of Setzer in KH2 was originally supposed to be filled by Rufus Shinra but Nomura felt there was too much FFVII bias. - Mickey's outfit in Birth by Sleep is just his KH2 outfit but in monochrome as a reference to his black and white cartoon origins since the game takes place in the past. - Laguna Loire from FFVIII was supposed to be in Birth by Sleep as the host of the Mirage Arena but Square decided to put him in Dissidia 012 instead since they felt he had great potential for a moveset. It's speculated his presence in a prequel would've tied to Leon's story since he is his father. - Nomura wanted to include Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in KH3 but Disney didn't let him because they felt it would've been "difficult" to fit him in the story. - The Wild Bruiser Unversed is speculated to be a remnant from the scrapped Jungle Book world as his ape-like design and banana on its head are reminiscent of King Louie. - Cinderella has brown hair on her Station of Awakening even though she's clearly a blonde. This wasn't fixed in the 1.5 release. - Even though Goofy's origin is correctly listed as "Mickey's Revue" from 1932 in KH1, for some reason in all future games his origin is listed as "Two Weeks Vacation" from 1952, a random Goofy short released 20 years after his actual debut. The Ultimania lists his original correct debut, though.

when talking about a disney only KH game im surprised you didnt bring up kingdom hearts vcast? in case you didnt know its a real disney only released mobile game for verizon phones in 2004. it was really rough and lost to time for a long while but recently people have been getting the files and trying to emulate it.

Wasn’t soras mom voiced by the same lady that voiced Sally from Nightmare before Christmas? I think Sora’s parents will come back in to play at some point. Or I could see them being relevant in future games. Like what if his parents had something to do with being keyblade wielders/masters? Like someone else in the comments reminds us that it was Sora’s dad that took Sora and Riku over to Destiny Island when they met Terra. as a long time fan "keychains" still doesnt add up. I have read a lot of lore, alot of fact videos. Recently hearing about "keychains" not keyblades, is a first. This cant be true, even if Kairi handed sora a oathkeeper chain. Sora can duel wield. Which can debunk this theory. Not to mention Rikus and Mickeys "Keyblades" being damaged and they needed new ones. Nowhere has Keychain been mentioned
