Hi dude, I really appreciate your knowledge. I am also a motor mechanic in Australia. One thing doesn't agree that modern engines only takes a few seconds for lubrication. And you can revv as much as you can when the engine is idling provided that the engine is being serviced regularly with correct oil. It will not harm the engine. But if it is a neglected engine then it just needs an excuse to blow up.

If you did that in usa, you could snatch at least $2500 just to tell the customer that what happened; and the mechanics will never touch the engine if the block was broken and advice to get a new engine total costing about $8000. I wonder how much you charged the owner for complete repair! 👍

I am an engineer at TATA Motors. I completed my BTech in Automobile and joined this company. While, I was doing my degree, I used to work at a local automotive shop for free of cost. I just wanted to learn things practically. At the shop, the one who knows everything is called USTAAD. I still call him Ustaad. I was so used to pronounce the mechanic language that sometimes I unwillingly utter words like Readywater( radiator) , shapatt ( shaft) , chechiss ( chassis ), garaari ( gears) , markaa ( markings) , silencer ( muffler) . Engine ko kholna aur baandhna ( engine disassemble and assemble) , major ( engine overhaul), bayring ( bearing) , chidiya ( rocker)

Did you check service history of this car and diesel quality. Egr do get carbon deposit which need to be cleaned in every service ., logic of racing and improper oiling due to sludge makes sense

Fiat 1.3 mjd/ddis/quadrajet engine ko kabhi bhi aisa problem nahi ata isliye Fiat 1.3 multijet ko international engine bolte hai aur National engine of India bhi bolte hai. Aaj India me 70% diesel cars abhi bhi Fiat 1.3 engine pe bhaag rahi hai.

Mukesh , you can't say connecting rod material or bolt is poor quality unless we check all 3 connecting rod broken or bent. Need to think why only particular CR got bent n seize, that is going close to root cause....but I like your efforts in this video

Owner never serviced this car on time which resulted in block damage.

Not only service but proper driving habit is also very important but we Indians only thinks about ABC accelerator bracks and clutch.service and zebracrossing to bahot dur ki baat hai and finally blames manufacturing companies.

Bhai...you can blame engine manufacturer as well...40k km is too less for a diesel car...I have seen an abused Ritz diesel never serviced on time...happily doing 1.5Lac kms with lethargic response from tubro...when the owner serviced the car...only 1L oil black oil came out...the mechanic refilled engine with 15w40 3.5L motul oil and car ran like new....full with power...suddenly turbo felt alive......for better results...always drive sedately till engine warms up...

@@gearedtorule because that engine has been outsourced or you can say bought from a company named FIAT known for its build quality, and thats the only heavily built thing in the whole maruti suzuki cars

@@harkirat1994able agreed bro....thats y it was once called national engine of India... Used by Tata maruti and fait...almost every maruti has it...from swift Ritz dezire ignis Baleno breeza and s cross has this engine...also served in indica, Vista and fait Punto etc....this is tried and tested engine...I don't think any other engine apart from toyata engines stand in front of it in terms of reliability and maintenence... It's an Italian gem... Really agree with Mukesh ji...the quality of bolts and other stuff in this Hyundai engine is crap...that.can.be reason it didn't withstand the abuse....
