@@jessturner6886 You are veryy confidentally incorrect!! San Marino is on the North Eastern coast of Italy on the east side of the Apennines, Rome is on the South western coast of Italy. They are 320km apart. San Marino is NOT an Enclave of Rome nor is it anywhere near Rome. Do you actually know what an Enclave is? ... uh...LOL

Not to mention that Mexico City had been founded in the 1300's as Tenochtitlan - the capital city of the Aztec Empire with at least 100,000 citizens living there in the early 1500's in this extraordinary metropolis with many pyramids, palaces, temples, plazas, marketplaces,etc. built on islands in a lake connected by causeways to the lake shore. Although it was conquered by the Spanish in 1521 (and would be somewhat altered in appearance ), the Spanish made it the capital city of their Viceroyalty of New Spain then ,after independence in 1821, it became the capital of the nation of Mexico. IOW, this is the ONLY capital city in North or South America that has continuously functioned AS a capital city before and after European colonization!

16:27- Singapore is comprised of one main island and dozens of smaller islands. In any case, its namesake capital city sits on the main island which is separated from country of Malaysia (and Asian mainland) via the Johore Strait- a body of water! Hence one cannot WALK from Lisbon to Singapore without crossing at least one body of water!

My favorite capital city is Canberra Australia just because of its funny history, it was basically just created from nothing in the middle of nowhere where about an equal distance between Sydney and Melbourne because those two city’s couldn’t decide who should be the capital after Australia gained independence 😂😂

1.It's written "Laayoune" not "El Aaiun" 2."Western Sahara doesn't control it , they only claim it as their capital , it's administered by Morocco and the people there recognise themselves as Moroccan (I myself lived there for 10 years)

For fact 40, Equatorial Guinea is building a new capital in the middle of its main area of land called Ciudad de la Paz. It is being built to replace Malabo so that it can be more centrally located.

After Canadian colonial legislators in Ontario and Quebec failed to come to an agreement over which locale would be considered the capital of the Canadian colonies, they left the issue up to the British Queen Victoria who selected Ottawa to be the capital in 1857- the somewhat remote settlement on the Ontario/Quebec border between the major cities of Toronto and Montreal.

No because Central America is not a continent on its own. It is part of North America. So there are dozens of additional countries here.

Edinburgh does not really count, since the UK's capital is London. Scotland is not a country, its a constituent country of the UK. The UK is a de jure unitary country so Scotland is technically further away from being a country than New York State is, since the US is a federation. The State of New York has more autonomy and power over its territory than the Government Scotland has over its territory.

North America has less capital cities than South America, as North America only has two capital cities, Washington DC and Ottawa. Oh you mean North America including Central America? Technically that is correct, as geographically, Central America is part of the North American continent, but that must be specified, as North America generally refers to the US and Canada ONLY, and sometimes Mexico, but Mexico is also considered part of Central America by many, so it doesnt count. The US and Canada are the only two countries that are unequivocally part of North America. Technically, the North American continent also includes most of Denmark, by way of Greenland, and France, by way of St-Pierre-and-Miquelon.

7:59 "the capital city that is found furtherest away". There is no such word as 'futherest', it should be furthest. Fact 25 blah, blah, blah about city proper, urban and metro but absolutely no attempt to explain, probably doesn't know himself. Then he goes on to ask us which European capital has the most populous metro area. Monaco being just over 2 sq. km. doesn't have a capital, it just is itself. SINGAPORE IS AN ISLAND SO YOU'D BE CROSSING THE JOHOR STRAIT TO GET THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Better stop at the southern tip of Malaysia.

You never bothered to mention the most populous capital city by city proper? Beijing, which is significantly larger than cities like Tokyo and Delhi (14 million and 11 million respectively). Beijing has 22 million people. Also, Delhi is NOT a capital city. The capital of India is New Delhi, and it is technically a municipality within Delhi but is not Delhi, but is Delhi at the same time. New Delhi's status is weird. You never thought to mention that?

It is NOT Nur Sultan, it is ASTANA. It was reverted back to its original name as capital, Astana, back in September 2022. For a so called Geography bible, you sure make a lot of mistakes, on basic stuff too. Unacceptable.

According to this video, Cape Town is the world's most dangerous city in terms of murder rate yet its ranked 12th in the world in terms of murder rate according to this same video. Well which one is it? Is it Cape Town or Colima? Contradiction anyone? Oh you mean most dangerous CAPITAL city in the world in terms of murder rate? Thats not what you said, you said most dangerous city. Next time be a little more diligent with your video editing. You are good at making videos but you made a mistake in this one, and this is not allowed. Sorry, rules are rules. I dont make the rules, I just know them.

0:17 shows the Elizabeth Tower while Big Ben is a bell, not a building. Imagine that, San Jose, a capital city being full of roads, cars and trucks! What did you expect, zip lines horses and camels? Tokyo is his 'favorite capital city on earth'. Will he tell us his favourite extra terrestrial capital city? Juba is a city, not a person so it's 'which became' not 'who became'. La Paz is the 'highest capital city on earth in terms of elevation from sea level'. Is there any other way apart from elevation from sea level to be high? Smoking drugs maybe? Monte VIDEO is not pronounced like that. 'Around 1.3% of all views have came.........' Have COME! Learn some English!! I'm only at 20, will correct the rest tomorrow.

@@lzombietiger9200 I'm always willing to learn, unlike the presenter of this channel. Show me my mistakes. BTW You repeated the word 'English' in 4 words, maybe not a hanging crime but very bad form. He's always talking about kilometers squared when he really means square kilometers. (There is one HELL of a difference.) He always says populated when he means populous and his pronunciation is atrocious. I feel sorry for the non-native English speakers, and geography students for that matter, who think he's some kind of authority.
