The astonishing part of that mod is not only how many LTWs are added, but also that up to that point it was widely believed in the community that adding new LTWs was impossible modding wise, but Lamare figured it out.

I agree. Lately the past few years the mod creators have been off the wall off the charts brining us sooo much stuff. I am so thankful for them. If any of you are here we love you for expanding the sims. 2z

One thing you didn't mention about LTW chooser is that it makes the game more then just the aspiration into account when randomly choosing the LTW so their random LTW is much more likely to actually match their personality.

There is a free way to get it since it’s abandonware. Some guy named OSAB has a whole document on it with the free setup download followed by a majority of the community. So I feel like if EA does put it on, then they definitely should apply a lot of fixes and updates to it (if they end up charging for it)

@@chocolatecream5593 100%, I would happily pay them for the ultimate collection, even though they were giving it away free on origin a number of years ago. I don't consider it piracy if they literally gave it away at one point, and they refuse to sell it! also EA makes NO money from sales of used disks at thrift stores and on ebay or other sites, and that is the only legal way to get copies. My computer doesn't even have a disk drive. So I happily downloaded the ultimate collection from gamesfortheworld. I had to do a lot of things to get it to run nicely on a modern computer but it was worth it.

It's good to have you back, Cindy. I trust that if you're feeling motivated to play The Sims 2 again you must be in a good place and so I'm happy for you. I really fell out of love with The Sims community on KZfaq for a long time until I found some other content creators I like too, when you left. But now, I'm inspired to play again!

As a Sims 2 fan, I was particularly thrilled by Paralives' recent Patreon updates such as "How Relationships are Defined in Paralives," "How Personalities are Defined in Paralives," and "How Jobs and Careers Work in Paralives."

I've been using the 50 NEW Lifetime Wants mod for a long time, and I'm having a lot of fun with it! The new Lifetime Wants are really creative and challenging, and they're adding a whole new dimension to my gameplay. 😁

I'm not really into these LTWs, but I really appreciate Lamare's hard work. I really hope someone makes LTWs based on TashaFaun's NPC Career Megapacks in the future. I'd love to have my sims wish to become a firefighter, a social worker, or even a maid or a gypsy.

Hello Cindy! Watching your videos brought back plenty of memories from my childhood in the 2000's. I remember back in 2002, when I was 4 years old, my dad brought a pirated copy of The Sims for me and my older sister. I can still remember being by her side playing the base game and panicking because we couldn't stop the social worker from taking our babies lol. I recently downloaded the game again and started re-watching some of your older videos to hunt for mods. I'm glad you're back!

Other than the new 50 LTWs there are other great mods that you might like: Lamare and Tvickie's Plant Overhaul Tvickie and DeeDee's Farm animals - RECOMMENDED!!! I love this mod. Some of my sims with the games hobby are regulars at the local bar always hustling pool to try and get 10,000 simoleons. The lifetime wants are challenging and make you really work for it. I would definitely say this mod is a necessity in the game.

Once my Oldies(both of them) got ltw to collect full collection of bugs. That was interesting one to play, seeing Herb running away from bees all the time. Also since Ingot the mod, Dina always got Gold Digger and always reached it 💅

Had to fix a bunch of conflicts, but finally got this mod to work the other day. It's awesome!

Yay! I do expect to have conflicts when I put this in my main game/downloads folder. But I think it will be well worth the trouble of fixing to use it!

@@PleasantSimsI checked to known conflicts list on the info page and thankfully only had a few that were on there, so it was fairly easy to fix. I hope installing goes smoothly for you, and can't wait for your next play session. 🖤🖤🖤

I'm using this mod in my Belladonna Cove to which I added my cast of characters, and the LTWs are helping me with my story. My stars are the Askew twins, Claire and James. She wants to inherit $150k from dead spouse(s), he wants the $100k mansion. My plan for her is to marry Carlos Contender and keep him company to the end, then move James (and his family if he has one) in afterwards.

I got the a mod that adds the 2 life stories careers(game developer, different Entertainment) , but unfortunately it doesn’t add wants about them, wish it did.

it's not really a new mod, but do you use the rpc launcher by Lazy duchess? It fixes some common bugs like the first born syndrome also, idk if you are interested in trying out shaders but the launcher is necessary for them too!

That mod is a lifesaver I believe it also keeps the game patched at 4gb? I had issues where the 4gb patch just would disappear all of a sudden before this mod
