@Derek Bollum actually, the borders for the western states are based latitude and longitude which is also why a couple of them are perfect squares. There is a TV series that actually goes through each states borders called How the States Got There Shapes

Julie McLain No, they cut out the rest of his part. He was still saying stuff. They did the same with many other people. In the beginning, they put red states for the people that didn’t guess those. Notice they didn’t put them for a lot of people, including this guy.

Missouri and Tennessee have 8 bordering states... in 3rd grade I learned all of the ones that border MO. Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa. The way to remember this was: " I Kicked Tom Around Old King Neptune's Island." No idea why I remember this. I don't live there anymore.

The states that border Tennessee are: Arkansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Missouri, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia. Way to remember I just made up: “Amid King Neptune’s Misery, Vince And Max Giggled” Or, if you want it in order of the states -clockwise: Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi. Way to remember: “As Max Kicked Vince, Nick Grabbed A Mallet.” Or Neptune grabbed a mallet if you want to keep the story going.

One: Unknowledged isn’t a word. It’s acknowledged. Though the proper usage for this sentence would be South Carolina is unknowable. Two: South Carolina isn’t unknowable we just happened to have not the best representative. Yet still it’s not her fault it’s America’s poor education system. Utah should have gotten New Mexico. There is a moment there as its apart of four states (Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico) that share that specific corner. Be it a corner, yes but it touches Utah
