Nice one! Apparently "Bob's your uncle" became a thing after a certain politician "Bob" appointed his nephew to some post. That his uncle was Bob seemed to be the only qualification the newphew had.

Brilliant video. I have only watched one easy english video before (where you invited the other easy language people to try to pronounce difficult english words, also very good video and German vs British with Isabell), may be I'll watch more of your videos now, despite been married to an Englishman and so having heard most of the phrases. 👍👍👍

HAHA this is very impressive, well done! I'm from Australia, so many of these phrases (e.g. winging it) is used in Australian English too! However if I had to explain the term 'bog standard' I would probably say 'standard, nonexceptional' instead of basic, I think. Also I managed to learn what 'wally' meant hehe

Hate to say it, but the first "your" you used was incorrect. It should be "you're." As this is an English language learning channel, I think it's important you get it right

As a US English speaker, I only knew about 20% ...and even then, you'd get some weird looks if you actually used those phrases LOL
