Irish Guy you got the Reyna situation all wrong. The reason Reyna didn't put in as much effort into training was because he was told before the WC that he would have a limited role in the squad. If anyone who was one of the best players for their national team was told that, I think they would have done the same thing. Regardless Berhalter was also making excuses for not playing him during the competition, like saying he was injured despite Reyna himself saying he wasn't. Berhalter just started a war against Reyna during the WC and exacerbated the issue by bringing the whole situation out to the public. A majority of the fanbase, icons of the USMNT and people in power positions at the USSF have actually come out in support of Reyna. Reyna wasn't the problem, Berhalter was. Reyna even apologized for his actions at the WC after the situation came out.

Jose has turned zalewski into a regular first team player which gave him the opportunity to go to the world cup with Poland this year. He's been a breath of fresh air under mourinho. He also took Bove from the academy and turned him into a bench player who often comes and impact the game in midfield. So Currently roma are 7th but only 3 points from 4th place with everything still very much open (except for 1st place napoli are too far away) and they have qualified for the last 32 of the Europa league which is a huge ambition for jose who loves European tournaments
