Yeah I think Fireflies would have been such a cool addition. It would change the whole atmosphere of the mangrove swamp. I wouldn't be satisfied with firefly jars either.

I’m pretty sure the warden no longer defeats the wither with its ranged attack rework. And even before it, the fight was very close, with the only reason the wither lost being it’s final stage causing it to get close enough to the ground to be in range of the warden’s melee attack, which though doing the same damage, had a much faster attack speed than the sonic boom. And now iirc the warden doesn’t do enough damage with its sonic boom to get the wither down to half hp before it dies from the wither.

I agree they coule've left the fireflies just flying around and doing nothing but that. And the lava eating frogs. I'm sure they developed some harden guts to eat it... HAHAHA!

After that, 1 of 3 things happen. 1) The game dies. 2) They stop trying to make their game realistic (almost never happens). 3) The community puts up with their bullshit. The way I see it, realism is a double-edge sword. It can be used very well, but can very easily kill a game. It's simply not worth it since realism is very rarely fun. It's a tool that provides almost no benefit and is all risk. Whoever came up with the idea of making games realistic has created a ticking time bomb that will end up killing even the biggest games. All of this effort being put into making games realistic when the games that ends up being some of the best in the world do not focus on realism and instead focuses on making their game fun. It's almost as if...... I don't know....... Fun matters more than realism? None of this matters anyway when Mojang basically did the equivalent of giving literally everyone Nuclear Bombs with a tiny fuse (the report button). To give you an idea on how bad it is, here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to softlock anyone's game. 1) Trick your target into breaking a rule. Context doesn't matter. If it can be seen as rule breaking at all, it is automatically a banable offense. 2) Report them. Wow Mojang! You are really professional! In all seriousness, it really shouldn't be this easy. For the sake of making sure that you can play Minecraft, you might as well assume that the game is already dead until they fix the "Nuclear Report Exploit".

..People still think the Elder Guardian is a boss? It doesn’t have a bossbar, and spawns in threes in certain structures. It’s a miniboss, or something like it, like the Shulkers (bit of a stretch), Piglin Brutes, and Warden (also bit of a stretch). Shulkers spawn in large amounts, Piglin Brutes spawn in fours, and the Warden just spawns underground via sculk.
