They should teach at schools. The golden rule of being lost in the woods. Stop moving. Don't go ahead. Don't go back. Stop. It is exponentially more difficult to find a moving target. Fantastic stories!

I always love the UFO/woods stories. The city of rocks story surprised me. Being an Idaho native I always get excited when I hear Local stories. Southern Idaho deserts are indeed a desolate and mysterious place.

I've seen mountain lions all around the tri-state area, Tn, Arkansas, and Mississippi. People used to disregard the occasional sightings but an 85+ lb. Cat collected on the highway has to be reported. What people DON'T accept yet are the black cat sightings. My son saw a black leopard Michie Tennessee around 2003. I personally think these are probably pets that became unmanageable and were released. But who knows? Tales of the Black Catamount (mountain lion) date back for generations.

I live in southwest Washington where we have lots of mountain lions but a couple years back there were a bunch of sightings of a black panther near my house. We don’t live in a place that has black panthers but a lot of people saw one, including my parents and my aunt.

Great one about Lincoln Towncar Man. I grew up in downtown Atlanta on North Avenue. I was 12 in 1974 and at that time the neighborhood was very interesting and wonderful. I really love this guy's attitude about people's lifestyles and that's how it was in the old neighborhoods. Thanks for telling these stories to perfection! Of course this one is my favorite.

I’m expecting another hot springs story to turn up from the ppl whose sandles and towels were at the spring without them . Along the lines of , “ saw 2 sketchy dudes as we walked to the hot springs . Later heard them approaching us and so hid in the woods till 1 am when they finally left and we booked it back to our car and got the hell out of there “ 😂😂😂😂😂

That Lithuanian story- that's just normal :D There probably was some sort of a domestic fight and nobody was watching you. And if they did, theft is probably the thing that was on their minds. About the morning- every patch of land along the road is probably a private property. My guess is that the owners came and couldn't decide whether to kick your asses out of there or not.

The story about seeing a baby bear walking through their camping site. Then walking to their car with only one flashlight and Dad drops it leaving them in total darkness as a bears growling in the distance. Run boy run. That had to be exciting. That adrenaline rush and panic,fun times.

Listening to these stories I often find myself thing (like everyone else) :"Oh no! How can you be so dumb getting into that car?!" - forgetting I was exactly such a dumb young girl myself. I was so reckless back in the day - people could have done god-knows-what to me a thousand times. It's kinda curious that I have grown to be so anxious, cautious and suspicious after the age of 25 - as nobody has ever hurt me despite having ample chance not only to do so but getting away with it also. Young people really seem to really lack the sense of danger, generally speaking, of course. Sth. to do with brain development or so.
