I always look for vintage CHANEL shoes, cheaper and better quality than the modern equivalent. I do have the M&S dupes and a gorgeous vintage pair of classic CHANEL camel and black two tone slingbacks. Such a great investment as they're an eternally classic style.

I don't have any but they look great. The other day I went to the mall and you were right, they are showing liliac and sage colors. I just bought a liliac top and I didn't know it was on trend. You could also wear a liliac necklace or earrings. I think you were the only one who mentioned those colors, good work.

I have a pair of these, and they are very hard to pair. I think the all black look with them may be the best. Sometimes they just look weird with an outfit, so I appreciate these ideas.

This is the third year M&S have sold the first style and they usually sell out. Quite amazing really. I’ve ordered the ballet flats this year from M& S same colour way, having purchased the block heel last year

I bought some full shoe, beige with black toe cap Chanel dupes from Everything 5 Pounds! They look unbelievably chic, you do not need to spend a lot of money to look elegant and you can easily recreate classic looks on a budget. Enjoyed the video Xx💕

I have the Chanel classic slingback sandals and I also have the Ivanka Trump dupe version and I must say the dupes are way more comfortable so I end up reaching for those more.

I I have several pairs of 2 inch heel slingback shoes and I wear them with dress pants to work , jeans for a more casual but classy look and with a midi dress for a classy and comfortable look.

This was so good - so many great looks that could actually be recreated! Check vintage stores for these shoes too! In the US, Van Eli have a great pair of Chanel dupes, which I think I am now going to buy after watching this! Thank you! Maybe I'll wait until I come home to the UK to get some a M&S.

What to Wear - Fashion Over 40 This same shoe has been around for 20 years at least! It’s not inexpensive - $130 - but those that have them say they are great. I also ordered another similar style from Amazon to compare (much cheaper!). I’m new to your channel - would love to see your ideas for what to pack for a week long trip in Spring (to a city). Mix and match.

This was spooky as a pair of dupes had just arrived from M&S! Love the style-saved up for ages to buy a pair of Chanel flats and they are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn-never again! I realize everybody is different and they may be great for someone else but I'd be worried buying the real thing in the slingbacks as they could just be another very expensive mistake, Love your videos -would be great to hear your take on stylish dressing when you are plus sized. I find it very challenging sometimes when it's so much easier to buy more casual shapeless clothing (sorry for going on!!)

I always enjoy watching your videos for fashion inspiration and how NOT to look frumpy or trying way too hard over 40. I have a strange question: Is that a bottle of Chloe Narcisse perfume on the shelf behind you? That was my signature fragrance from 1992 when it launched until the day I couldn't find it anymore and used up the last of my hoarded stash. I still miss it. xoxo

Well spotted, it is the Chloe Narcisse perfume 😀 I'm a bit of a hoarder, I think I had it from around 95 or 96 😳😳😳😳 I don't know what it smells like now but I liked the bottle! I didn't realise it wasn't made anymore, I have another bottle that is still in its cellophane 🙊

I have 9.5 (USA) size. The Chanel shoe, in any color, breaks the length of my foot. An open toe shoe works, too. At 69, I still want to look stylish. Your tips transition ages.

I thought the slingback was so painful around the toes! The cap is cloth but sturdy cloth like a car seat material. It was painful on the big toe bone! Had to return …. Got two cap toe flats and will probably have them forever! But the slingback was a big no for me.

Watched your video, because I do plan to buy a pair of the real thing. Save, save, save. However, I gave your video a thumbs down, because it appears only skinny Caucasian women can buy this shoe. You need to diversify if you want to build your channel and become more inclusive whether you want to or not.
