works to some extent, but 300A at 380v is less than half the rms current. it would need 760A for an accurate winding test

Bro thats 500 kva and the 100% load is 695.6 amperes in 1500 Rpms How we can take 760 amperes? We just took more than 300A but the video isn’t properly made as it’s very old the Voltage output here is 420 and 50 Hertz.

Thank you so much. It depends on the how much ampere kick load you want. In many cases for 500 KVA we give maximum water kick load of 400-450 Ampere for that. We use 1KG to 1.5KG SALT in 200Litre water. But the water we are using is of 400+ TDS. If water TDS is low. Then amount of salt will be doubled. And for 600+ ampere we use 2KG salt in 200 Litres. Middle Phase of Load bank will take more load due to Electromagnetic field generated around it.

It’s a load test. They are using the water tank to draw the maximum current the generator is rated for, to make sure it runs properly. This is obviously a risky way to do it.

Hello. We have basically used normal Tap water that varies to any TDS rather than 0. Then we add salt into the water for instant load on the electrons. The reason is short circuit would happen if the 3 phase directly connects to each other. Here it’s not happening. After taking load water just boils so it’s a limited time process.

Maybe u have reference link a water TDS and than salt formula for composition how many volume water, many salt to make zero conductor in 3 phase each 1 kVA. Thank u for knowledge this, very helpful

@@aryadeckymagangga8664 Tds in water Means Total Dissolved Solids. You can Easily find TDS meter available in the market. Now coming on the load taking. It depends on the how much ampere kick load you want. In many cases for 500 KVA we give maximum water kick load of 400-450 Ampere for that. We use 1KG to 1.5KG SALT in 200Litre water. But the water we are using is of 400+ TDS. If water TDS is low. Then amount of salt will be doubled. And for 600+ ampere we use 2KG salt in 200 Litres. So the Game here is Salt. If you want to take load slowly. Don’t add Salt to the Water. Slowly the water will be heated and it will take more load. And if you add salt. Water would be instantly boiled now at this position you can take more kick load but it would be for just a limited time like 1 minutes to 2 minutes. Middle Phase of Load bank will take more load due to Electromagnetic field generated around it. Our suggestion is if you are considering this way of load bank. Then you should be more precautionary. 1) Load to be taken in PVC 2) The Connection on the Plate which is dumped in the Water must be have minimum gap of 4-5 inch in 3 phase. 3) While Taking load of 3 Phase Dg set never Dump Neutral with phases or it will effect on dg set 4) Always use wooden bamboo for dumping the cable in the water and removing from the water. 5) Never put salt on bakelite or cable. That’s a kind of testing of the Dg set. Which is known as water load testing. We take some x amount of water put y amount of salt and dump 3 phase inside it. X & Y differ accordingly to the capacity and Ampere testing required.
