Yep, it's beautiful! Just re-watched this video and then went back and looked at my four videos I did on the 'bloom technique' (videos #251, #252, #253, and #254). I think mine turned out pretty neat so I think I will try again with my recipe and do a few more! But first... think I'll cover my last four with some resin :-)

Wow they are all beautiful but the center is my favorite. I'm listening and watching closely to your tutorial and explanation so that I can follow it when I try it. I finally found a Hobby Lobby store near to the mall and bought some paints in the store. Wow that turned so beautiful and the way those cells formed. Thanks for always providing a great tutorial Christina. The decision of what design is difficult sometimes.

HI my name is Stone and I am your newest fan. I have been BINGE watching your art/your videos for two days and am so happy watching you during this COVID mess. I would like to know when artists are spinning paint what keeps it from flying all over the house? I would like to try this, am very new to it but I make enough messes without even trying at my house. I appreciate all the advice you can offer. I am an art teacher out in California and am inspired on youtube by people such as yourself. Thank you for letting me escape into your world. I think you're really good at what you appear to love doing.

Thanks, Christine. When you say the Pourage paints work, do you mean that they work when mixed with the Shelley medium, or that they work without the medium - on their own?

I’m new to pour painting. I’m a wildlife artist. I made cell activator but I used a different paint than Amsterdam. It made lots of lacing but the edges aren’t crisp. I ordered some Amsterdam. Does it really make that much of a difference? By the way your art is beautiful!!!!! Can’t afford the shelee art course but I’m loving the bloom technique!!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Christina. Thank you for this. You mentioned 3 tablespoons of the Behr high gloss base and 1 tablespoon of Josanja varnish, but when you make it up in a bottle you said 1 cup base and 1/4 cup varnish (I think that is what you said) but these measurements are not the same. Can you please confirm as one would be 4:1 and one would be 3:1. Thank you so much! 🙂
@ChristinaWelch
@ChristinaWelch 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, when I make a big batch I want to be able to add more varnish if it's too thick while mixing the colors. If it's too thin, I need to add more base. I'd rather start out thick.
