My husband and I saw this pandemic ahead of most as well. We started preparing and quarantining weeks before anyone else here in the states. We still both got sick in March, but we couldn't get tested because tests were very limited at that time. No idea if that's what we had but we were sick for 2 weeks and it took several weeks longer to feel "normal". I've never had such an extreme lack of appetite for so long. Usually if I get sick I'll loose my appetite for a day or two... Having a sick stomach and loosing my appetite for 2 weeks was awful. I dreaded having to try and eat anything at all... And if we DID have it, we had what is considered MILD symptoms... I can't even imagine what it would be like for those who get moderate to severe symptoms... Omg I know exactly what you meant... I knew this COVID-19 was going to be bad and I knew it was something we had never seen before and would change our daily lives a lot and for awhile. Nobody believed it. I kept telling family and my husband that it was going to be major and bad. He thought it would barely be anything. I was at the time thinking ... how is no one seeing this is going to happen. I knew in my heart that 100% it would be like this. I feel I have to take every precaution bc I just don’t want to risk my kids getting sick. I would blame myself.
