It’s a 2.2 stock but that’s not a cobalt ss with an upgraded turbo. It’s a straight up NA-T boosted 2.2 L61 engine unless he has a Frankenstein setup. That body is a base body; cobalt SS came with turbo in 2009+. I’m boosting an ion right now and I gotta say, that cobalt in the vid is at least making 350whp

One-off RPF1 "homage" wheels is a proper title. These are def not "knockoffs". Normal RPF1s aren't good enough for this build obviously, so having a custom forged set built that includes beadlocks is one of the most baller things I've seen.

Idk, I wouldn’t compare a M3 with the Z as they’re not really in the same class of cars. The new S58 M3 is insane performance wise, check out our video on it!

@@JacesOwnWorld disagree. The performace and driver engagement is just better on a m2. Won't even talk about the way better luxury and tech u get. A black m2 with yellow drl is hard to beat in terms of looks. This is a very nice car but it's front end ruins it. Makes it look like basic traffic.

Definitely something odd going on with the power and shifting of the M340i. Should be shifting smoother and pull harder either way the B58. Also, that Trackhawk didn’t look 900whp worth.

It’s a 340i gen 1 B58, he has a custom tune and most likely XHP trans tune, it’s a heavier car tho. The first few runs he was spinning, the last run we did at the end was the best for him. The Trackhawk we confirmed with owner and he said it’s close to 900whp, and that car runs the same 1/4 mile time as our Z.

TrCkhawk is almost double the weight of the Z so to hang/slightly pull it would have to be almost double the HP. He's every bit of 900

Only set of wheels we got for the track and the only set we plan to get. Not gonna buy wheels again when we make more power lol, since these r custom and takes a while to get.

Yea these things are slow, especially if you got a cobalt door to door with you, and barely beat n/a cars. The new Z is just kinda disappointing especially since I was looking forward to them. Wish they had a better exhaust note as well.

I mean, the car with the tiny stock turbos isn’t the fastest thing in the world, but it’s definitely competitive with cars in its class mod for mod. We will see what it’ll do once we throw on some bigger turbos this year, the beadlocks and everything will be put to actual use then. And yea 100% agree it’s lacking in the exhaust sound department 😅 Super fun car to mod/drive tho!

We think it’s doing just fine, mid 10 second 1/4 mile with stock turbos, our customer with Z1 drop in turbos ran 10.2 1/4 mile when attempting his 9 sec run. AMS has the fastest Z rn, going 9.75 @143mph with the same bolt ons and their turbos. Give it more time as they r just barely hitting the streets with only a handful of companies doing development on them rn.
