Hands down my favorite John Deere model. Dad had one when I was a kid and I wish I could track it down and try and get it back.

We owned and operated a 5010 on our large farm operation. Many years of rugged dependability it's still around today at another farm.

@@oldfarmer3001 you can only do and make so much today. You could easily make a living farming back in the 60s - 70's. Now you gotta have a huge operation to break even. You can thank people in suits for that.

JD's first 100 BHP plus tractor, the later 5020 was even better as it had row crop rear wheel options.

I have the industrial version of this tractor.. A 700 its a huge heavy ol beasts ..1965 according to the serial number

@@mrnascar9129 You have no idea what your talking about. A 220 would eat a 5010/5020 for lunch. The HP were the same but the Deere engine was a torque turd
