Setting out from Tyseley at 9am, The Mersey Express picked up passengers at Wolverhampton and Stafford before reaching Crewe at 10:50am, stopping at Liverpool at 12:30pm.
The Earl of Mount Edgcumbe departed from Liverpool at 5pm, arriving back in Crewe for 7:10pm that evening and Tyseley for 9pm.
