@Zagoreni02A27 күн бұрын
Babylon 5 was and will remain the best tv series ever. Comparing to the more episodic Star Trek, B5 brings more realistic story, which spams trough the entire season but not only season, if you watch all 5 seasons, each season is basically connected. I enjoyed it when i was kid, and even now in my thirties i still rewatch it every year at least once. Even if they made reboot of B5, it will never be the same. Sure you can have new cast playing the main characters, but nobody can really replace them. Andreas Kastulas was one and only G'Kar, Mira Furlan Deleen... New younger generations will claim otherwise, that you can have new actors playing those characters, sure you can, but that won't be the same.
@boydgrandy576927 күн бұрын
Getting that ensemble cast back together is going to be tough. The Hollywood life must be pretty intense, as the average lifespan of these people appears to be under 60. The odd 90 year old, but a number departed this earth in their 40s and 50s.

It's somewhat surprising to see how many main characters have passed away. That somehow makes one appreciate TNG again. TNG is even 7 years older than Babylon 5 (1994 vs. 1987). With Picard Season 3, we had another nice closure for the entire crew. That's something we will never experience with Babylon 5.

It didn't need to. B 5 had a fitting and beautiful ending.For me the ending was perfect. Some things should be left as they are.Anything else would be unnecessary and inappropriate for the series.

A lot of the late-1920/early-1930's generations in this show. I never realized how many of them were that old. Now it makes sense to see so many gone to the great beyond. With a few odd ones that had too short a life. Thanks for this video. Each year more and more are leaving us beyond. I hope Straczynski manages this new series and that it'll do homage to the original and not a perversion like many remakes/reboot of the last 8 years. 18 years separated the end of Startrek and the beginning of TNG... B5 ended in '99, we're overdue. Godspeed !
