देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा ।
तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ॥ १३ ॥
dehino ’smin yathā dehe
kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā
tathā dehāntara-prāptir
dhīras tatra na muhyati
As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

Chapter 2 Verse 13 In this verse what i learned is every human being goes through different phases in his life. From childhood to adulthood to old age and ultimate death. Its very natural that the soul will keep changing the body . One dies and gets another body. But a person who is sober , this change will not influence him because he has already realized that body and soul are different thing. He also clearly knows that his purpose of life. So changing the body will not be a issue for him. We must keep realizing that we are not a body and mind but rather we are a higher self i.e Soul. First journey to our spiritual path is that we are a soul. Hare krishna🙏🏼🙏🏼

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna in this verse we understand that we are not this body but we are the spirit soul the body goes through phases (childhood , boyhood , youth hood , old age ) but not the soul this body changing phases in a natural process similarly at the time of death soul changes body either material or spiritual and a sober person will not be bewildered by this change of body a most sober man or Dhira is anyone who has perfect knowledge of the constitution of the individual soul , THE SUPREME SOUL , nature both material and spiritual ***(So basically we are the spirit soul not this body )-- VERY IMPORTANT TO REALIZE *** Hare Krishna Hare Krishna . I have gone through really a traumatizing situation but than i prayed to the Supreme Godhead Shree Krishna to read the Bhagvatam, and the biggest thing is that my heart daily pulls me to the read the book and i haven't read any book with this dedication. By watching all this i can definitely say that Shree Krishna is their with me helping me. Harre Krishna♥

Hare krishna prabhuji, We have to understand we are spirit soul and not gross body. This will help us imbibe the science of self realization. Transmigration of soul happens at the time of death. Soul is eternal.

Hare Krishna Krishna helps Arjuna to come out of misconception that, changing body is painful. A person changes body either being dead or alive. But the soul remains the same. And that's our identity. When a person dies gets a better body. What's there to lament.

On death body may get rejuvenated, they may go to heavenly planet or higher platform... Soul gets a new body. Constant entity which is the same throughout the lifetime is spirit soul

Hare Krishna Prabhuji.Here we understand that the body transforms from childhood, youth to old age with spirit soul passing through all three.Similarly the soul passes to new body on death of old body. We should therefore not lament as the spirit will pass on to new rejuvenate body .

Hare Krishna 🙏 The soul is the only constant. Even a body of a single life is not constant. The building blocks of our body, the cells, even they replenish and renew themselves every 7th to 10th year. One should be learned about the soul and the body being two separate entities.

Hare Krishna Prabhuji. Here everyone is individual soul and Krishna is a individual supersoul. Krishna is different from individual living entity. Always our body is change from childhood to youth and youth to old age but soul remains same at last soul will change one body to another

Hare Krishna prabuji 🙏 Dandavat pranam 🙏 Few points which I have understood by reading and hearing today's sloka a day BG 2.13 In this sloka krsna is helping arjuna to come out of lamentation ♦️After taking birth the body changes from Kaumaram(childhood) to yauvanam(youthhood) and yauvanam to Jara(oldage) ♦️At childhood body is completely different At youth body is completely different At old age body is completely different ♦️similarly at the time of death the soul is taking a new body So in this way krsna is explaining arjuna you should not lament on death of bhishma, dronacharya and other great personalities As bhishma and drona also gone through all these childhood, youthood and now they are in oldage. By death they are going to get new bodies, so they are just switching from old bodies to new young bodies. So they are rejunating their energies. OR As bhishma and drona are noble souls, they may attain heavenly planets or they may break the cycle of birth and death and go back to god head. ♦️ So a "dhira" a sober man is never deluded by the change of bodies. ♦️From our childhood onwards our body is changing but our identity never changes, That identity is spirit soul. ♦️This realization is very important that we are not the body we are spirit soul. ♦️This is the first step in self-realization understanding what is our real identity.

when some one close to us demise lamentation is one inevitable .the travel of spiritual body in .boy hood to youthhood to old age is in front of us .but the physical body that we live is no more there upon demise and we don't see the spiritual body ..then how we can came out of lamentation
