I've been a Darkness fan a long time, but had no idea for several years that they were finally getting the accolades they deserve, & had not vanished. They are not played on Northeast FM radio New York/Long Island enough. I'm trying to do something about that. I pay attention to the rock music scene very closely. So, I was elated when I found Permission to Land Again in a music catalog. I immediately encouraged a seasoned college radio station to check them out. I knew he'd like The Darkness, he did & played them, & he told me I was correct in knowing the band would be his kind of rock. A lot of the L.I/NYC no longer answer phones & take requests, so something has been lost of personal contact which would normally keep the DJs from the real fans & genuine encouragement to play excellent suggestions. Well, you know the media deal. Enough said. Frankie, Dan, Justin, & their drummers all have been so cool. I can't wait to see them live. Thanks!
