I'm retired I would love to be a nanny, I love children and I live in the US. I have been watching other videos about Thailand, it looks absolutely beautiful. I also watch Lilly's Expact, I live vicariously through her videos as it looks phenomenal there. Everyone seems to help one another. Different from living in the US. Merry Christmas 🎄⛄🎄😊

Such is the life of a working mother. Either, here in the 🇺🇸 USA or in Koi Lanta. Don't be so hard on yourself. When you look back at this time in your life you will be proud of the example you have been to your children. They will have a strong work ethic and learn how to balance it with family. I left Germany 2001 with 18, stayed 4 years in Spain and Argentina, than from 22 I spent 7 years in Egypt, than 6 years in Qatar and now 3 years in Ghana. Just got 40 this months. I wish I would have documented my journey and be as brave as you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

It's never too late! I also feel sometimes sad that I don't have any videos of all the other amazing stuff I did in my life, like living in Myanmar for 3 years. But it's really never too late I found myself at 40s 🤣🤣🤣

Wow, that is so amazing and interesting. I am Asian (from the Indian Subcontinent) and have lived in many countries including in Thailand (five and a half years). I studied in the U.S. and decided to leave and explore the world. I worked in many different countries and the exposure and insight I gained from other cultures truly cannot be expressed in words. I now live in Germany. I like many things about Germany and its culture but I also feel very restricted and the system is very rigid and inflexible and therefore less freedom. I love traveling, living and working in different cultures because I feel that it is my way of exploring life. I have not been to Africa yet but would love to visit a few countries in Africa. How do you find life in Ghana and do you work there? I wish you all the best with your future plans and dreams. I am in my mid 50's now and I would like to find a home away from Germany very soon. I am still thinking of going back to Thailand to live long term because of the sense of freedom I had when I lived there.

How nice to see you again! You are authentic, that makes you sympathetic. The benefit to live on the island is, it’s like a holiday, but the life does not only contain the holiday. Courage Mayaan courage! You’ve been through so much and you are allowed to speak out your stress every now and then. We are all just human. Not complaining is just hiding all frustration inside oneself, which might not be healthy at all. Island life is definitely good for children who might not have all the “luxury” as city kids but I am sure nothing compares to the learning and growing experience your kids have. 💪be strong be happy Mayaan❤

My husband is Latin American and sometimes (most of the time?) he will interpret my complaining as a criticism of him, or that he is supposed to “fix” it, or that I am unhappy in our life together. Nearly 30 years together, and still I have to remind him I’m just “letting it out”, with no expectation from him other than to be loving and understanding (which he is). But, like Mon, if I complain too much, it certainly brings him down. So I have to find a balance.

Beautiful, the full spectrum of life. I find myself complaining (I call it venting, just sometimes need to get it out and let it go), then remind myself of how privileged and blessed I am. I love the closing with those beautiful little girls on an amazing sunset beach. What a fantastic childhood that will give them strong roots for growing the rest of their lives.

So happy you're back! And it's great to hear that Green Pepper is doing so well. I do agree that you need a maid or nanny coz you have way too much responsibilities. I watch almost all the videos you published (the first one was the story of the Swedish lady who returned to Thailand and found a way to live with her love). Your stories give me hope for making my own dreams true. I am in love with a wonderful African man in a beautiful sunny country that is also plagued by wars and conflicts. Welcome back Maayan! As a working mom i feel for you youre allowed to complain! Mons mom had to run a business as well as the house? And did she ever truly have a life for herself where she focused on her passions? Probably not. Our lives today are very different we want to do it all and there is such a thing as biting more than you can chew or stretching ourselves too thin so we need to monitor ourselves and know when we've taken on too much.
