There are no accidents! The 2 of Spades is an interesting birth card and in some ways exemplifies the spiritual seeker. It is a 2, so you are invited into a life of partnership around the work of spirit. 2 is a humble card in that it is low in the numerical sequence--sometimes the lessons you are working on seem fundamental to others or yourself, but what if the little things are the big things as well? If someone is going to connect the dots in this way it is the 2 of Spades. A 2 of Spades does not immediately command the leadership style of a court card; rather, it is a card of leading from the "bottom," leading by example or leading with a team. Born into this realm of duality in the Neptune line, 2 of Spades face challenges on the spiritual path where illusion and self-deception need to be continually rooted out and brought to light..but your life path culminates in the Crown Line: your Neptune card is the King of Spades so there is the possibility to embody the fulfillment of the symbolic water lily (Egyptian) or lotus (Asian)--rooted in the muck but touching space and communing with the stars.

It is an exalted position: you are called to lead or experience yourself in a position of power or visibility where others are aware of who you are and what you do..

I have a very strong opinion about the elements in relation to the card system--there are two camps in the current proponents/contemporary writings you may find...but I make no claims or comparisons to the tarot correspondences. Spades are water in that the winter shows the possibility of phase transformation of the element from steam or liquid to ice. There are curious qualities of water that chemists claim which might be interesting to examine in relation to this system and the culmination of this numerical/symbolic system. The spade symbol itself disappears into a point--evaporating into the ether and the capacity of phase transformation symbolically points to space/ether as the ultimate element that allows all the others to flicker in and out of apparent existence. Diamonds are Earth as the fall is harvest time and also, the diamond itself is an echo of the square and cube--a common mystical symbol of the earth element. (more on this in the next video which will cover the 22/7 formula: the approximation of pi and the mathematical symbol of the finite and the infinite)...as you can see these correspondences have clear relationships in my explanation to the seasons as well as the qualities embodied in the symbols. If I am to step back in this explanation though--regardless of how reasonable or thought-out my assertions and claims are, the key for any mystic is not the "correct manipulation" or "correct naming" of the variety of phenomena, but finding and familiarizing oneself with the one "thing" that frees all: awareness, which one could say is the 5th element, ether. If we can rest in and familiarize ourselves with awareness, no phenomena can confuse us or lead us astray any longer and the unending symbolic content of this ultimate mystery will endearingly and continually unfold as an astonishing astounding love story.

The elements dance and weave their significances throughout time and space. If they are the actual foundation of our being then we always have access to them. Symbols are alive and they are never defined by words or concepts. What symbolic tradition or presentation inspires you? When you say 'speculative' you imply surety in another system that you are comparing here. What is that system or that expression of primordial symbols you are referring to? This card system has a function that I don't believe you have experienced or studied. This presentation is my symbolic constellation and it functions for me in a way that connects all time-- past and present and future in a way that heals divisions and leaves room for everything in the phenomenal world to have its own harmonious place. So I am suggesting to you there actually is no accurate and singular way to perceive symbols--it is always limited by our experience and unique persepective--and assuming there is a right way to perceive them--does not allow us greater ability to learn what they have to teach us...it can actually get us stuck in reification of something that is not static or owned by definitions. Symbols like the elements that are their underpinnings of our being are dynamic and elude circumscription but they are not imperceptible. We take a risk to speak of these things or point to them but this is a risk we take all the time and it is a noble life..if we are willing to learn our very personal lessons.

I believe you are talking about different motions of the stars, the forward motion/sequence of the constellations and the slow backward motion through the Great Year (~26,000 marked by the precession of the equinoxes). For those who are unaware of this motion/measure, the Precession of the Equinoxes is determined by the sign that appears before dawn where the sun rises in the Northern Hemisphere during the Vernal Equinox. By this measure (the constellations do not occupy completely equal degrees in the sky) I believe we are already entering the beginning of the Aquarian Age in that we are working with air element foundations and actions. There is also the 200 year cycle in which Jupiter and Saturn conjunct constantly within a specific element; the latest conjunction of Dec 2020 set the tone for what will become clearer as we move along over the next couple decades to come. If we were not in the midst of a magnetic shift (polar wander), which will continue to herald significant changes on our planet and our sun. I think it is also of note that the adjacent signs are relevant as well for the way they point to the sky's passage into the fixed signs; transitions depend on contrast. That said, we create symbols and significance from the insidee--as such-- this is just what is significant for me.

It seems the two systems are referring to Aquila and Scorpio which are close to each other if you follow the Milky Way and not the ecliptic.

Eagle was the original sign of Scorpio to the ancients. I don’t know why they changed it to a scorpion. I have also heard that Scorpio has three signs within it: The Scorpion, The Eagle, and the Phoenix. So there are three consciousness levels to Scorpio. Most adepts are in the Eagle phase.

Well, I do appreciate the content you are offering but there are good presentation skills and lackluster presentation skills. It helps a hell of a lot to convey wisdom teachings using good presentation skills.

What do you appreciate about the content, Kevin? You have offered nothing but your critique and this content is no regurgitation but my attempt to synthesize what I have found of this fathomless tradition. Are you pushing views to you or adding something of value here?

The irony here is in how I started this talk-- I basically said : its one thing to have this stuff be an item of interest and entertainment, but I'd like to believe each and everyone--by our own paths--came here together to ask ourselves--in our hearts in our minds,--"What's a life really worth?" I guess we all respond to that question in our own way, huh?

@@axissixa I actually don't mind the way that you present. This is coming from someone who definitely has challenges with public presentation. I am an astrologer and my natal mercury is in Pisces (a sign that mercury isn't really comfortable). My natal mercury also makes a difficult aspect (square) to my natal Saturn in Gemini (the sign that mercury rules). So, please continue to present and give freely in the best way that you can and just know that there are people who will appreciate you despite the voices of dissent.
