The 525N is Inovonics’ third-generation AM Modulation Analyzer for monitoring and measuring transmission performance in the medium-wave AM broadcast band.
Now IP networking and additional new features have been added with the introduction of the 525N.
Winner of Radio Magazine’s NAB Best of Show Award, the 525N features a very wide-band audio output with 10 and 9 kHz spacing.
A unique phase-lock synchronous detector filters adjacent-channel interference and is not affected by HD Radio digital carriers.
The high-resolution LCD bar graph display is easy to read, simultaneously presenting total carrier modulation levels for both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE PEAK MODULATION.
Floating Peak flashers eliminate any ambiguity in the total-modulation measurement.
Metering can be switched to display calibrated RSSI signal strength, and Asynchronous Noise readout.
Four push-buttons in a diamond cluster format allow you to cycle through the menu options with the LCD display.
A set of LED Peak Flashers indicate absolute-limit of carrier modulation and a second set are user programmable.
Five station preset buttons are located on the front panel
The 525N adds new monitoring and control features which are accessible remotely via a dynamic web interface.
All front-panel functions are as close as your laptop, tablet, or smart phone - including remote audio monitoring of the off-air signal.
Full Web Interface gives you total remote control of all set-up parameters, metering, alarms with logging, and streamed audio monitoring.
The Web interface has full SNMP support, and all alarms are integrated with email or SMS messaging.
On the back panel, there’s an F-connector antenna input for monitoring the off-air signal using the Outdoor loop-antenna that’s supplied with the unit.
There’s a High-level RF Input for connecting directly to the transmitter or feedline tap.
An XLR Program Audio Output which is electronically balanced.
A network port for remote control monitoring, and SNMP support.
And a Terminal Block with a series of connections to interface with remote control management equipment.
The 525N is compatible with worldwide radio broadcast standards and can be set to either 115 or 230 volts.
It comes complete with an Outdoor Loop Antenna, as well as a printed Installation & User Guide to get you up-and-running quickly, and provides In-Depth knowledge of the product.
Like all Inovonics’ products, it is backed by a three year factory warranty and Premiere after sales service.
