I love this reflex colours and they created lovely bright effects in this split cup acrylic pour painting, but this time I overstretched it. But colour combo is stunning so tomorrow I will be part two. :D
TECHNIQUE: Split cup pour, Straight pour, Spin art
MATERIAL:
- 12x12 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Cake spinner
- Palete knife
- Split cup
COLOURS:
- Amsterdam reflex orange
- Amsterdam reflex rose
- Amsterdam expert series permanent red violet
- Amsterdam primary yellow
- Amsterdam carmin
- Windsror&Newton permanent magenta
- Boesner black and titanium white
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.

Oh Fiona it is fabulous. It looks like lava flow off the coast of Hawaii. The colors are a perfect contrast.

Watching you pour paint, the way it flows with the ticking of your clock, is just so relaxing! I love these colors together, and I really didn't think I would lol. I appreciate that you show everything, the good ,the bad, and even the ugly. This one was definitely NOT one of the ugly ones 💜💜💜💜💜

WOW!!! These colours are just AWESOME!!! At one stage you had something looking like a nipple stuck in some sort of volcano, then when you added more 'nipple pink' to the middle bit, the whole thing changed depth completely & became the most luxurious velvety rose i have ever seen! What a total transformation! I wish you had added more black around the outside & maybe scraped away the white. That rose was so beautiful!! Then came the dragon emerging from the firery depths of the earlier volcano. It is still very beautiful & I love it!!❤❤❤ Your work is just so magic to watch in its creation. I can't imagine a day without watching at least 1+ of your videos. So calming & inspiring! THANK YOU😊❤❤🎉

Fiona. It is beautiful. I love the color choices. They're bold but they're warm and they go together so beautifully. I think I'm going to have to get one of those cups (they're a bit pricey for me only because I like using what I have on hand but I have to say wow it does make a difference by using that cup.) This is beautiful, Fiona. I must say that I liked a bit better right after the second pour. It looked like you were looking into the caldera of a volcano. It was 3 dimensional and mesmerizing. Of course, you were looking at it from a different perspective. Great work as usual.

My preference in acrylic pouring technique is split cup too (although mine are all silicone), and I absolutely love layering the colors in the split dividers like you do here ☺️ You never know the outcome of the end result 😄

Amazing, Fiona! I LOVE these colors together. I was really loving the design when you were 'almost' done pouring. I agree how you ended that was not the best choice.
