@yxcvtfgjh lkjasdh I'm American. Born in florida near pahokee, raised by the Okeechobee lake. I know America. I'm not foreign. I know that America is wicked to it's core and I don't live in America anymore because i choose freedom of oppression. But you on the other hand don't understand America's system. Tell me, why do you pay taxes and where does taxes come from? You know that's your hard earned money that they're taking from you right? Imagine keeping all 100% of that money that you make out of your paycheck. State, and federal taxes. Do you know why parking tickets exist. Do you know why traffic tickets exist? Do you know the difference between a magistrate judge and a judicial jude everytime you step into a court house? What about calling out their oaths? You boast about america but you do not know it's system. You don't know that through your social security number they are robbing you blind through something called "The strawman", are you wise enough to search all of this or just live in ignorance Forever? Do you know why you have a Birth certificate? Do you know the origin of it? People in america avoid taxes or try to avoid taxes because they know taxation is a burden and it hurts your pockets and things that you want to do you have to put off to the side until you can get your money right to do do. But if there was no taxes then whatever it is that you want to do would come sooner to you Learn life or be subject to those who rule over you. You live in w fantasy country. If someone told you the truth, you'll look into it before judging the cause of it and calling it a conspiracy theory. You see, America has brainwashed the people into calling thing's conspiracy theories because they know that these people will not go and do their in debth research on the matter and will just believe the government. You on the other hand i see, automatically call thing's conspiracy theories. Even if i do give you proof you'll look over the surface of it and will not dig deep to get the understanding of the matter. I'm against the Wickedness that goes on in America. You're all for it because you will not research anything even if someone does give you the key to the answer you'll just call it a conspiracy theory. You'll say you'll look into it but throw it away because you don't want to see the Truth. It's better for you to remain in ignorance.

What were the good reasons and why are they no longer valid? If you don't mind me asking.
@Kaliflor87
@Kaliflor87 3 жыл бұрын
@@TheAzynder There were three main arguments the NCAA used to justify not paying student athletes: 1. They're already getting paid by receiving tuition, course materials, and housing. 2. Allowing students to make money, not just NIL, would create an unfair recruiting field because athletes would go to the places with the highest pay. 3. An idea of "amateurism" which boils down to a premise that Universities should not be the place for professional sports. These points get a lot more complex, and none of them were accepted by the Supreme Court, but these are the reasons student athletes haven't been able to make money for over 100 years.

It's funny, I worked for a university's public safety department, where I was both paid a normal wage, and received free college classes. No one ever argued that they didn't have to pay us because we were already getting a free education, and we didn't have to keep our grade averages, or pass our classes to stay eligible to work. But then you flip around to the student athletes, who make billions of dollars for the colleges, and the universities were not paying them, because they were getting "free classes". The kids getting torn up on the football field couldn't get paid and receive free classes, but those of us telling you where you could or could not park your car in the garage outside the stadium were both getting paid and free classes and health insurance and vacation and sick days. Hell, I think there was even a free daycare if we had a child. Couldn't pay the athletes though, because that would have been unfair.

This is honestly too true. I unfortunately played college football on scholarship because I'm from a poor family and wanted to get an education without putting myself in student loan debt. Lucky for me I broke my back playing the game and now I'm losing function in my legs and my penis and walking with a cane probably will be a in a wheelchair soon. Sometimes I wet myself because I can't control my bladder.The worst part is to think that if I had been working I would be covered in injury compensation. The university just threw me out on the street and treated me like shit. I struggled through multiple surgeries trying to finish my degree. I finished but now my body is so messed up idk what I'm going to do. What's worse is the University's are supposedly the leaders in being progressive in our society. But really they don't give a shit about anything but money.

Sorry to hear it. I went to two major universities and they both treated me like shit. I was absolutely nothing but a cash cow to them. I tried going out for two different sports and was not even considered because I was "too short". 5 foot nine, the same height as Babe Ruth. I could run the 100 M in 11 flat, throw 200 feet with pinpoint accuracy, benchpress 320 pounds, stuff like that. They wouldn't even let me try out. Guess I was lucky. Oh, and my degrees are worthless, too. And I consider myself blessed, as I survived all they put me through. and I'm happy, healthy, and not living in the street, where they obviously wanted to put me. Good luck!
