The 3rd visit to the Targa Florio with the Sprite. The evolution of the car continues with suspension now changed to Lotus Elan 26R independent all round and the engine fitted with an 8-port cross flow cylinder head.

This doesn't look much like the Sebring Sprite that the factory ran at Sebring through Jim Baker Motor Co. of Atlanta. I did timing and scoring for it in 1970. I assume it evolved mightily? Your photos tell the story nicely. Jock Ellis
