Do you have electric tie on this baler? If so, can you please make a video of how it is set up. I'm working on converting the same baler from manual to electric tie and have several questions. A detailed video of the setup would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

You can get the same bearings at NAPA for cheaper

I'm having trouble with my twine arm, I bought my 530 used and I don't think the twine was ran correctly. I can't find any repair manuals either. I'd appreciate any help...

Make sure arm is not bent. It can get bent if the belt are loose. The belts get loose when you move the pins from their storge to position to the bale chamber. Which is what want to everytime you not using the baler. Twine running is pretty straight forward. If there is a missing porcelain guide you my have problems. When you have run does it pull out fairly easy? It should. Let me know if you get it.

The twine is tight when I pull it out of the tube. The arm is hitting what I'm guessing is the block and knife. I'm assuming the arm is supposed to go the full range of the baler but it's not bent. I don't have any manuals on it, where are the pins for storage and use?

@@misterrogers7045 twine hard to get out. Could be that bale of twine. Jaguar twine does that to me. Routing from bale to end of arm. Goes through a tensioner then series of white insulators then out the end of tube. Hydraulic tie or manual tie?

The guy I bought my 5540 from said he couldn't get it to tie right; the tension springs were rust welded and held the twine too tight. I got it freed up and loosened up the twine and it ties just fine. I also replaced the cutting knives.

What do you need a puller for?

@@andylonsdorf1294 those bearings and carriers you used a slide hammer on, I ended up getting them a few minutes ago with some homemade tools haha. I'm going ahead and replacing 4 bearings and 2 carriers that were worn. I lifted that thing out by hand boy that was a heavy mother im not doing that again

@@storminnormanz O yah. I used forks on skid steer to lift that out. A long rod with slight bend would work also.
