@@okseajhits santoshs range much harder too, could easily jam and flush card too. he has a lot more flushes by the river than jungle. two live overs, gut show straight draw. not just value but he has many bluffs he can bet too that would fold out jungles ace king, queens, jacks etc.

That last hand was absolutely disgusting. Jungleman was definitely feeling himself after that huge bluff. He started the last hand all hyped up three betting with 7 8. He hit his money card on the river but it was the 3rd nuts losing to the absolute nuts. He's going to remember this hand forever.

J8off is probably the only hand that makes any sense for jungle against the professor. I think jungle would at least raise preflop a high percentage of the time with 910 of hearts. what is the professor really losing to? any set would defintiely raise that flop.

You have to imagine he’s not bluffing that much. He led in to a ton of ppl OTT, and jungle is aware he’s repping a pretty narrow value range. Like you can say he’s going to raise sets OTF always, but he’s surely going to raise a lot of his really good draws OTF also? He’s repping a very narrow range of hands period, it’s not like he has 100 bluff combos and 8 value combos or something. It is actually hard to think of many bluffs he can have, and it’s hard to think of many value hands he can have. He doesn’t want to have hearts on the river, the best bluffing hands OTR are def hands that don’t contain a heart. Professor bet

@BOnYTB I really don't see Jungle playing set of 3s or set of 5s this way, limping preflop in the blinds and just calling on the flop to go 5 ways to the turn. There is only one combo of 910 that would make it past the flop, can't imagine Jungle would float 5 ways to the turn oop with any other combo. I agree with your analysis on professor's range though, especially when he called jungles turn raise, most likely a pair plus flush draw or combo draw type of hand. So jungles river bet is spot on, except the fact that the jack did improve professors hand. It was a good bet by Jungle, but then again professor can still beat some ace or king high flush draw or missed straight draw from jungle? Maybe Jungle think he could value bet if he hit a queen with a queen high flush draw at the end? Just so hard for professor to be beat except J8 and one combo of 910.

For the prof. Hand I would definitely ship it on the turn. If you are going in with J5H such a garbage hand. Honestly the flop can't get any better. You are also losing to 33/88 only. Jungle could easily have AJ with Ace of hearts or some type of 67. On the turn you are almost always drawing live. You calling on Turn means you should be committed to call River or else you should actually fold. What are you wishing for ? Hitting a 2 outer with the Jack? With how large they playing it's almost always better to ship it and run twice there. I would hit to call turn and face a huge bet on river. Just rewatched the video for sure I would ship it. So many ugly river card. Say a deuce of hearts. Jungle ships it. I find it an even harder call with just Jack high flush. 9T QJ got there. Any hearts and any eights also kills your hand. You have to ship it on Turn or Call river or just fold on turn.

ummm no. Jungleman has either a bluff or J8 there. If you ship it on the turn, he folds his bluffs and calls you with J8 and you're crushed. Does it make your life easier? Yes of course. Is it the way to get the most money? Absolutely not, a shove on the turn is losing a lot of money compared to a call. You just have to hold on and call. And guess what? River decision isn't to be easy sometimes. But that's winning poker sometimes, you can't just always have the nuts and get bet into and snap call. Especially when playing vs a player like Jungleman. But he got outplayed. His fold on the river is pretty damn bad, and the commentators actually nailed the hand analysis on this one. As for having to call with a flush. You really think Jungleman is shoving a heart river there? Professor's hand looks exactly like what it is, a flush draw, and Jungleman has no relevant blockers to be betting into a flush on the river. On a heart river he would shut down. Professor just had to realize: it's incredibly unlikely that jungleman has 9T there. Could he have QJ and J8? Yeah sometimes. Now how many bluffs does he have? Definiitely enough. If he's doing this with 97 he's also doing it with 67, 24 with some frequency. These hands will most likely shove on a brick river, they simply have noshowdown value and Jungle is actually unwittingly hanging himself by raising too many of these hands on the turn. You have a jack in your hand which blocks his value range. It's an easy call. Sometiimes you're gonna be shown the bad news, but it's still a clear call. I love playing against players that just decide to shove their two pair on that turn. You realize how much money they're saving me as a poker player? If they don't shove I might bet again on the river and lose even more when they call, and when I have it they just give me the money without giving themselves a chance to get away on a river scare card when I value jam. It's amazingly profitable for me to play against a player that just shoves whenever they think they have the best hand. The only time it makes any sense to shove is if you put Jungleman on a hand that's behind but has so much equity that he can't fold to your raise. Guess what? he's just calling with those hands, iit's a much more profitable decision for him than to try to bluff the guy who just bet close to pot into 4 other players.

In the first hand I don't see how you can narrow Jungle to one combo of 910hh considering he's fInding a bluff with 97o double gutter... I have to imagine he's doing the exact same thing with some other 910 combos. Those are basically the same hand since they have no showdown value.

T9 definitely is a straight on that board and T9hh makes sense because he would have redraw to a flush. If he hadn't turned the open ender, he probably would have check folded it. Or Depending on player check raise and river the straight. Then bet for value. Big bet = polarized range, which means nothing or something. Just how many bluff combos would he have in this spot?

i mean check-call river is probabbly better with bottom straight. you lose anyway, but you have some hope, if opponent have some bluffs there. showing first is just for the snap call with nuts, there are no worst hands for call then kq and q8. sets are playing differently for Santhos for sure. and that hand with j5 is always allin on turn, because you have still some equity agains sets and you dont need see river card.
