I heard so much about you. [plural/singular formal addressing] Я столько слышала o вас. YA stol'ka slyshala a vas. 19. Nobody should know about us. LIT: Nobody should find out about us. Никто не должен узнать о нас. Nikto nee dolzhen uznat' a nas. 20. I think about you all the time. Я всё время о тебе думаю. YA fsyo vremya a teebye dumayu. That is all for today. Today we are going to learn to say: About me, about you, about her and so on in Russian. О ком ? [A kom]= About whom? Обо мне [aba mnye]= About me O тебе [A teebye]= About you {singular informal} О нём [A nyom]= About him О ней [A neey]= About her О нас [A nas] =About us O ваc [A vas]= About you [plural/formal singular] О них [A nikh]= About them

EXAMPLES: 1. I read about him. Я читала о нём. Ya chitala a nyom. 2. He is dreaming about her. Он мечтает о ней. On meechtaet a neey. 3. Do you often think about him? Ты часто думаешь о нём? Ty chasta dumayesh' a nyom? 4. What do you think about them? Что ты о них думаешь ? Shto ty a nikh dumayesh' ? 5. He told me a lot about you. [plural/formal singular] LIT: He to me a lot about you told. Он мне много о вас рассказывал. On mnye mnoga a vas rasskazyval. 6. Do you think about me? Ты думаешь обо мне? Ty dumayesh' aba mnye ? 7. What do you want to know about her? LIT: What you want about her to know? Что вы хотите о ней знать ? Shto vy khatitye a neey znat'? 8. I don’t know anything about them. Я о них ничего не знаю. YA a nikh neecheevo nee znayu. 9. She wrote a book about him. LIT: She wrote about him a book. Она написала о нём книгу. Ana napisala a nyom knigu. 10. I read about you. [plural/singular formal] Я читал о вас. YA chital a vas. 11. What do you know about me? Что ты обо мне знаешь? Shto ty aba mnye znayesh'? 12. Are you talking about me? LIT: Are you abot me? Это вы обо мне? Eta vy aba mnye? ➟★ This is a very common expression. 13. Who are you talking about? LIT: You about who? Вы о ком ? Vy a kom? 14. Thank you for caring/thinking about me. Спасибо что заботишься обо мне. Spasiba shto zabotish'sa aba mnye. 15. Thank you for the shoes. I dreamed about them. Спасибо за туфли. Я мечталa о них. Spasiba za tufli. YA meechtala a nikh. ➟★ I dreamed. [past tense] Я мечтал [m]/ Я мечталa [f] YA meechtal/Ya meechtala.
