WOW!!!!!! What an experience!!!!!!!!!!
High altitude trials riding has its challenges and rewards. I enjoyed every minute of this unique trials competition where everyone ride the same sections with different lines for their choosing- riders decide which line to chose and observers are carefully watching your progress. I personally had tonnes of fun and I met a lot of incredible people, this event will stay in my memory for a long long time. I have smile on my face every time I think about being there haha. I drove 2050 kms and on my way visited incredible places like Yellowstone NP, Grand Teton NP, a few National forests, and rode on incredible OHV terrain. The 40 sections weren't killers but rather a blend of the high altitude and the long 13-14 mile rugged loop that had its own unique challenges. When you arrive at the section you are "begging" for less pain and difficulty :) My time there was simply incredible, among old friends and new one that I was able to easily make. I met trials legends like Larry, Mike, Curtis, Jim and so many other great guys and girls. Ryan Young and his family supported me all the way. Ryan encouraged me to come and his family Adriana, Mike, and Terry provided me with fantastic and nutritious food, drinks, and friendship. I experienced a loving family atmosphere because of the generous people that are very close to my heart. I was extremely impressed with the collaboration and cooperation between organizers and USA forestry officials... there were rules, but as long as we played by them we had the ability to ride off trails in water, logs, rocks, etc. I was also impressed by how trails had markings indicating they were for all users to share (hikers, horses, motorcycles, and so on.) The officials finally noticed that we can all live and play in harmony if we respect each other! It was a great experience overall, thank you all very much and I am looking forward to the next Ute cup. Ute Cup name has originated from Native American's tribe of the Great Basin where they had lived in sovereignty in the region of present-day Utah, Colorado in Southwestern United States
