You know, someone went to a lot of trouble to make these videos for the pleasure of other people - what a sad sack you are to leave such a dumb comment - ESPECIALLY, considering we're viewing them for free!

I agree. Hazel sounds like an angry woman. Or, to be kind, maybe she was having a bad day. Regardless, she shouldn’t have taken it out on the makers of this video.

@@philipatoz I don't think it's a dumb comment. It's perhaps a bit harsh ("garbage"), but it's accurate. I appreciate the channel owner's work, but the video is definitely poorly titled, especially considering that, in the 1940s, a much greater percentage of everyday life in the US took place in small towns and rural areas. Much of this video is not even about life in cities, but about large buildings in large cities. I, too, was disappointed.
