Self-stick contact paper is pretty easy to use to tape off the back. I just trace them, cut them out, and put them on.

I have tried a gloss varnish and it looks real nice too. I’ve kind of gotten away from resining because it can be very temperamental with me sometimes depending on the temperature in my house. It’s looks nice when it cures right but varnish definitely works well too 🤗

You have the bloom down pat. All bueatiful. Thanks so much for showing the finishing on the back. I love the the coordinating finish. And the two sizes are perfect for a tree. You really don't want all the same sized ornaments, or I don't. I wonder, though, why you don't do the backs as a bloom too? I know you couldn't sign them then, but I would think it would be so mush easier to ensure that a bloom shows from any direction of viewing.

Hello, why is it necessary to wait weeks before you can resin? Is part because of the oil based paint? Thank you for the video they all turned out amazing!

You want your paints to dry and cure properly before putting a varnish or resin on it. Mold can grow if it isn’t

Oh my gosh no worries on the spelling, believe me 🤗. How fun, I love christkindel markets 😃, I have not done any porcelain ornaments before only wood so I can’t really give advice. But I’m wondering if it would be like tiles which work out really nice and resin or varnish nicely too .. maybe try a tester and see?

Hi Jody! Love your blooms. Question...what makes a difference in which way you spin? Sometimes its clockwise and then counterclockwise. Let me get back to watching you now...lol

Hi Robin! Thank you so much! I know there’s a technical term for it but I just do it both ways to ensure the paint is evenly disbursed across the painting and also off the canvas. Hope this helps! 😃💜

Hi Jean, I use the oil based Minwax prestain the red can. When I bought it a couple years ago it didn’t say oil on it but it does now on newer cans, it’s the oil based red can 💜

I will have to look into this and figure out what to do. In the meantime I think you might be able to turn it on with your settings and it will put in voice recognition subtitles. Please let me know if that works at all. 😊
