I am hoping fans of the series will have renewed interest in SCTV and will spread the word about this Classic Canadian Comedy Legend.
I have included all 185 episodes of the Syndicated Series of SCTV. Please note that the Syndicated Series has material not available on the current crop of DVDs, and also that the DVDs have material not available in the Syndicated Series. Please note that there is also material not available in either.

Martin Short's character "Brock Linehan" was a spoof of the late Canadian interviewer Brian Linehan who became known for his exhaustive interview preparation to the point that most of the interview was about all the research he had done on the guest he was interviewing (only Brock Linehan's research was all wrong leaving his guests laughing hysterically).

I also love when he's looking at the interviewee and he's slowly tearing the page off his clipboard. The basketball scene is priceless!

The old 3-D sketches are hilarious. Count Floyd trying to sell us in the "scary" political bill and the sound effects when they zoom in and out to the camera. Just silly fun.
