The mac valve is an electronic boost controller, not the same as a MAP sensor. If you have an aftermarket ECU, it is likely it has an inbuilt MAP sensor in which it will reference for fuel tables, ignition tables and boost tables. The MAP sensor will be a vacuum line close to the throttle body that goes directly into the ECU (if inbuilt). You need the MAP sensor to be super accurate to make sure your tune is on point.

AWW MATE just the upload I needed to end the week, nothing better than some filthy 1JZ noises! I'd say keep the sleeper look on the Cressida and if you can find some sweet 4 lug wheels go that route with the S13. Loving the content mate!

map sensor can make it to random shit like that, maybe check ecu logs and shit not sure what ECU you got but will help to see if it's isolated cylinder miss, had the same problem but it was a boost cut from the ECU overboost protection

Do you know what's going on with the 1jz? I just noticed at 11:33 if you play it back at 0.25 speed you can see that the RPM on the gauge drops to zero for a split second. Is that gauge connect via CANBUS? Not sure why the ECU would be send a RMP signal of zero. Could be a sensor going bad? I dunno, I'm talking out my ass 😅
