The 3600 will bottleneck the GPU but it's functional. A 5600 or 5600X would be better choice on AM4 boards.@@aestheticstone-lp2vv

Keep in mind that this guy has an established following and brand. That is the only way he’s getting away with marking up almost 30% just for labor. (27.865%) He uses frankly mid components (psu, storage, ram) and just because they are white they cost more lol. Cpu is weak af for 700+. It’s frankly ridiculous people buy these systems when it takes next to no skill or knowledge to build pcs. There is no barrier of entry like specialized tools, or expansive knowledge like working on cars or being a doctor for example, so I don’t think you can justify such a mark up for just building it.

That's a nice build mate, though as I'm an everything over aesthetics chap I would have spent the cable extension money on a Thermalrite Assassin cooler, I just replaced my Spire cooler with one and my 6 core is running cool and quiet. My crude LED temperature gauge (PCB LEDS) hasn't moved above green since I fitted it.

Normally the R5-3600 comes with the small Wraith Stealth cooler and not the Wraith Spire that comes with the R5-3600X

@@cryptocavern6614the 3060 went up in price. The lowest price I seen rn was the Zotac white for $285. Used 6600 is a great one, glad you mentioned it. Brand new rx 6600 is like $190 (lowest price rn)

I used to have r5 1600 and when I upgrade to 3600, I noticde the stock cooler was much bigger than the new one on 3600 and has proper copper on it. So I just used the old one with 3600 and sold the 1600 with the new cooler. not that much differ in performance but it just looked more nice being taller and all.

I recently got the best deal ever. Living in Canada is pretty expensive right now, and on the used marketplace I managed to grab a 1070 for only $50 And I was hyped and scared it was defective, plugged it all in and everything worked great. (I'm still using it 3months later today)

Before I return my budget gpu I need you to benchmark the Ardiyes RX580.. I’m trying to run 4k 30fps on games and I’m not getting the full utilization unless it’s my CPU R5 4600G? Or both? cheap B520 or average B450, for 5600? for me both are priced the same 450 has vrm heatsink whereas 520 looks very low powered with just a few MOSFETs and no heatsink.

should i get more v ram but lower speed or a lower vram but higher speeds, both gpus are roughly same price one has 12gb vram and 1.7k megahertz of speed and one has 8gb vram but 2.4k megahertz.

Would you consider putting in the tax and shipping costs in your total to give a more accurate representation of what the cost was? Very few pc building channels do that and I think it could be a turn off for people going to replicate a build and then being surprised by having to spend an additional $100 or so for tax and shipping.

I always include the shipping prices, but never the tax. There are states that have 0% sales tax, and some are in the double digits. PA is right in the middle of that, so I just don't include it.
