550KM TOP SPEED DRIVE on GERMAN AUTOBAHN in AUDI A7 [NO SPEED LIMIT - AUTOBAHN POV]

In this video we are driving from Munich to Berlin on the German Autobahn in an Audi A7. This video covers the full distance. You see a real world impression of the German Autobahn with all "no speed limit" sections as well as the sections where there is a speed limit posted. Additionally, you also get an understanding of what it means to have no speed limit posted but traffic on the road. In total a distance of more than 550 km (around 340 miles) was covered.

This is a great video that shows the reality of the autobahn: sometimes there's traffic, sometimes there's roadwork, sometimes there's a speed limit, sometimes it's only 2 lanes. Overall still a great place to be.

Great video. Now I have the real perspective of driving on german autobahn. There are quite a lot traffic at some parts and many roadworks. The speed limit sections are hard to obey speed limit, because the autobahn is the same as unlimited one.

At the very end there was not that much traffic but due to holiday season in Germany, the beginning was quite busy

I recommend start driving the Autobahn at 5 am. No cars, beautiful sunrise and max speed

As a German, the problem is that an Opel Astra will usually sit in the left lane doing 130kmh and you are just sad that you can’t go fast😢😢😢

Hey, i assume you had steal brakes on the car. How do you think the brakes worked while driving like you did on the autobahn? did you feel that they get hot or that they did lose some braking performance? curious to hear what your experience was like?

Yes, indeed steal brakes are installed on this car but I saw no decreased performance. In general, the performance is quite good but I had drives where more heavy braking was needed and the brake frequency was increased, this resulted in minor performance losses.

What would you consider a good top speed for a vehicle? My goal is 241 km/h(150 mph).

Usually the cars in Germany with slightly better engines can achieve about 250 km/h (155 mph)

@@autotik Somewhere between 240 km/h(149 mph) to 250 km/h(155 mph) sounds like plenty for me. My fastest is around 210 km/h(130 mph) and it was electronically limited to that speed. I likely could have gotten higher than that had it have been electronically limited to a higher speed. How much difference does it feel like driving a vehicle at 240-250 km/h(149 to 155 mph) vs 210 km/h(130 mph)?
