Hey man, trucks looking aweeome. Look forward to following this build. How was the fit of the bench seat in there? And did you have to narrow the rear axle at all ?

Hey thanks! The bench is out of Squarebody, fits perfect. Probably a bit wider than the original but that’s ok. And the rear end is out of a 08 Colorado. Perfect width

I have a 57 with a 5.3 Ls 4L60e that I’m working on and was looking for a rear end that would would work.

That is bad ass! I’m currently doing the exact build on a 55 GMC. I’m curious what power rack you went with. I ended up using a 2005 Ford Explorer rack but had to fab a custom frame assembly to make it serviceable. Thanks

I believe it is a thunderbird rack. I had to offset it and add spacers to the pass. side inner tie to accommodate the steering. Seems to work well. Hope this helps.

@@chevylove5372 it’s 2”x2”x1/4” square tubing with knuckles from tmr customs. Bags on bars with a panhard bar. I made everything in my shop

@@chevylove5372 for sure. I’ll post a more in depth video of the truck soon. I made it similar to the Ekstensive Metalworks setup. Parallel or triangulated 4 link would probably be better but I’m building this one out of stuff I have laying around the shop mostly..
