Mike, my hats off to you, it's called pleasure to see someone taking care of their equipment as u do. Makes for less maintenance and fewer breakdowns that shows you've got common sense and few people have that in todays world. Love your show.

A new operator in the loader gets my attention after this. I have an old Donahue 8x16 gooseneck grain trailer. It’s old enough it does not have a VIN. I was hauling gravel for my driveway. The sand pit operator had broken his arm so his wife was in the loader. I came across the scales with 30,060 lbs on three axles, the front axle of the pu did not fit on the scale. The old girl grinched and groaned but lifted the load off.

I'm from the Panhandle of Texas. Just 80 miles from Oklahoma border. We get all for seasons up here as well as very high winds, sometimes 70 + miles an hour. Always have wind. This area was part of the Dust Bowl. Very flat and arid. Very little rain fall. No trees to speak of. That is one of the many reasons I love watching your channel. I love to see lots of trees and forested areas. Love the hard busy work ethic you and Melissa have. I was raised to work the same. My husband and I are retired and disabled now but I joined a gym recently to try to get as much strength back as I can working with a personal trainer after a massive back surgery. I enjoy seeing Hunter, Just wondering what is his day like? Does he have chores he is able to complete like feeding the dogs or making his bed, just wondering if he is able to stay busy. He seems like he enjoys waking around and seeing what everyone is doing. All your children seem to be great kids. Enjoy seeing your entire family. If the questions about Hunter are too private I understand, forgive me if I overstepped.

Been watching your show for the last several week and like it too much. I have a hard time getting any thing else done. Love all the stuff you do. I grew up on a 250 acre farm in So. Eastern Minn. Good thing it’s been below zero (15 to 25) for the last week or so. I’m a retired acft mechanic so it doesn’t matter now. My wife and I heated our house with wood for several years, too old to do it now (76) too fat now too. Have a day!!

Clark County, Washington here. Crushed Stone/Limestone, ordered in smaller amounts, a cubic yard of crushed stone can cost as much as $115 and a ton as much as $143. Ordered in larger amounts, a cubic yard can cost as little $30 and a ton as little as $65.

Mike, I done some tractor work also, not like you did but someday I need to but what I done, I got on my Kubota B7300 HST and unhooked the scrape blade then hooked up the bush hog and I done a good bit of heavy mowing. I cut thick grass and weeds with briars enbedded and a few small brush and cleared off a hillside. I spent all day outdoors and there was no doubt I was in my Happy Place. I felt so good staying out there and the weather was great but on the hot side and dry. We need rain and a lot of it but not all the same time. My lawn areas are looking like a desert all brown and dry. we had no rain here for going on about I guess 3 or 4 weeks. Anyway like you, I had a day too...a super good day outdoors. Enjoyed so much I didn't want this day to end but it must I guess. I agree that we who have tractors and implements and such need a dedicated place for all our stuffs. I need to rebuild my so called equipment lot and it looks better and it's easy to get to what you need and it's basically out of the way. I like to keep my stuff orginized. they say I'm a perfectionist. I don't know about that but I like to be able to get to my stuff and not have to dodge this and that to get to what I need. No matter, I still enjoy the outdoors. Your dump trailer is the thing. I know you will get some very good use out of if and enjoy it to the hill. Nice, very nice. Hello Melissa, Stanley, and I may get the other names messed up so I won't say because well I'm that way. Hello my buddy Hunter! I can't forget my buddy for life. God Bless all the Morgan family. Michael from NW North Carolina - The High Country.

Build a retaining wall down along that trail on that bank. Backfill it to level the ground. Move that equipment again. Concrete pad that area you are working now with a 12-24 inch cantilever over hang over the wall to clear your fenders of your dump trailer. Set up the wood splitter and conveyor right there for the rounds to pile up on the pad... For those who want to season their wood on their property - back the dump trailer down the trail along the retaining wall, RK55 bucket push the wood straight into the dump trailer from the conveyor pile.... ?.... Just a thought.😕 Layout of the ground is perfect for it.👍

Thanks for taking the time and energy necessary to share what many of us can only dream about doing ourselves. Living in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona doesn't provide many opportunities for felling trees and milling lumber or splitting into firewood. So I am relying on you to share what I can only imagine and what it would be like. I discovered your channel only a few months ago and I look forward to each new episode. Having done my share of taking videos and video editing and rendering, I know the time it takes and I am in awe how the two of you are able to keep up with all the demands on your time. I truly love the life you are living and it is obvious to me how important your family is to you. I wish you the very best as you continue to work hard and are so willing to be an inspiration to so many people. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family as you remember Him. From Wyoming, working in the Middle east. Love the videos, your care for your family and of the property (land, equipment, etc.) and your operator skills. It's good to see people living a good life, appreciating it, caring for it, and being kind. I assume the trailer pulled smooth with the 2.75T of stone as you didn't mention otherwise. I liked the music in this video too. I held my breath when Melissa was under the forks of the tractor... but understand she is used to working around equipment you are operating and you are deliberately slow and cautious. Thanks for sharing your piece of the world. Sorry to see about the camera. That's a bite out of the wallet I would guess. Best to you and yours... and pats for the pups.

I see a nice machine shed in the future made out of cherry with a galvanized roof, maybe some heavy 4x4 racks and you could stack some of the lighter implements 4 or 5 feet off the ground. It's a problem when you get too many toys! When I was a kid on the farm my Dad always put grease or used oil on the disk blades and plow shears to keep them from rusting...used an big old paint brush. I don't know what happened to the camera but I think that's what happens when your setting in a nice air conditioned cab with radio playing! Take care, I like your videos even if U have to use the old camera!

Seeing that lifting frame behind your tractor reminded about something. You may find a hydraulic toplink useful for your logging work. It would expand the lofting range of that lifting frame. Down the road it would support a rear lifting boom, which you might find handy. It is nice to see your equipment pool growing. The firewood bucket sounds like very good idea. As always my thoughs are with the Morgans. God Bess you all.

Next time time you get shure pack for you drive way you will have to use the dump part of the tail gate and chain it so it only opens an inch or two. That is a great way to spread it out. That is about the amount of material from the pit I bring home . once in a while a new operator will dump 6,000 pounds in my one ton . Here in NH I am paying about $30.00 for a load like that. Guess I am lucky. That is a great trailer and love all the toys. What comes next. a pole building or Melissa"s pool. LOL Enjoy the videos.

Best thing I did you my dump trailer was get the wireless dump. It’s plug and play and is awesome for dumping without putting the added stress on the drivetrain on the tow rig. Throw it in neutral and let the load push ya away from it! Also I couldn’t tell or not from the videos, solid hitch receiver is your friend in dumps. I’ve seen a lot of hollow one bend and break hauling equipment like trailers. I got a nice Reese adjustable one that’s solid and rated at 14k, very nice if you have multiple trailers like you or me.

Great video This is how my back yard looks tractor implements every where LOL. I use heavy duty plastic pallets to put my implement on this keeps moisture off the steel. I seen how damp surfaces like rocks, dirt and grass tend to cause increased corrosion on most implements so the pallets allow water to shed off and leak to the ground plus moving things is a breeze now. Thanks for sharing.
