Valentines day is coming, and I will show you three acrylic pouring techniques to paint a flower without a brush in the next three days. I will use same colours with different paint layering and the second one is Reverse flower dip with puddles.
TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip with puddles
PROCESS:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Make puddles with your colours
- Draw some petal pattern
- Put down damped paper napkin or towel
- Lift the napkin
- Torch
- And here is your flower
MATERIAL:
- 8x8 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Paper napkin or towel
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Torch
COLOURS:
- Amsterdam Oxide black for a background
- Arties colours cadmium red deep
- Arties colours alizarian crimson
- Decoart 24K gold
- Pearl white
My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.
