5K Aerial over Los Angeles with Cineflex and RED Dragon

Here we go, finally found some time and processing power to render out all of my 5K RED Dragon Cineflex clips I captured a few years ago flying over Los Angeles, California. 35 minutes of fairly raw cut together shots of incredible sunset, beautiful city lights and even flying over LAX.

Shot in Los Angeles, California over downtown with a RED Dragon in 5K (5120 x 2700) from a Cineflex/Helicopter. Huge thanks to Ron at Aerial Filmworks for allowing me to operate and teaching me the ropes of the Cineflex GSS Gyro-Stabilized Systems.

Brilliant work! Truly brilliant! Bravo! There's no place that has the "magic" that LA has. It's REALLY where the stars play. In a superficial way, I saw this old lady at this Mexican restaurant with the biggest diamond ring I've ever seen on a pair of wrinkled fingers and you could clearly tell she had plastic surgery done and I was like oh shit I'm really in La La land. It's like everybody has a Ferrari, everybody is chill and helpful, the hills are enchanting, the beaches, the palm trees, the skyline, the Hollywood sign, the mystique of it all cus' you're literally on the edge of the earth but at the same time, it's dangerous which adds to the whole thrill of it all.

fantastic movie, Los Angeles is really fascinating, this variety of trees and flowers is impressive and charming, it looks like a giant garden, this view that you can see the beautiful buildings of downtown ..and you take these beautiful roads that pass through los angeles and go anywhere in california..is amazing.

@@tonysopranooo1 yes i know that..i am from brazil and i am fascinated this place , here in brazil it has these problems is very sad, now..how can a rich state be going through this..someone explain this? taxes and rents so tall and small house costing a fortune.

Cool video. We can see the Wilshire Grand Center under construction. It really dominates the skyline at night now that is open and lit up.

My Mavic Mini 1 made it to the top of the Wilshire Grand, lost connection, then returned to home shortly after. I ended up losing it during the daytime in downtown a few months after. Never got it back. RIP.

I'm going to say these images are looking 'relatively' soft no matter in which resolution you choose. It's not a really crispy, sharp image. Maybe its because most of the shots are done with zoom lenses at a long focal length, combined with a moving Helicopter. But of course, i still love to watch it :)

I think the tiny-smaller drones are allowed to fly practically anywhere. Anything bigger than medium size carries more restrictions, like FAA registration.
