What if that wasn't the case, and ETH was picking him because he wanted to/thought he was the best choice week after week despite what we are seeing - would that change your mind on the manager? It's not either the players or the manager. We all know the players need to get binned, and we'll see this summer whether the INEOS setup can make moves to change that. But we have also seen a team that had the same problems on the 21st of April that it did in Matchday 1 in August, so it's hard to keep defending the manager when it seems like this is how he wants them to play (mainly because he clearly isn't trying to change it)...

the changes made to the way our Academy plays now, to bring them inline with the 1st team, is working so much better with the U18's and the U21s, winning everything, and swatting teams aside like they're not there, but the 1st team just can't seem to get it together, when we see the capitulation each week after going ahead 2 or 3 goals, it doesn't matter how many we score, we will concede the same amount if not more, by the end of the game

@@thrilla72 Indeed, he made changes to the way the Academy teams played, when he came in nearly 2yrs back, to make the transition up to the 1st team, far easier, and they are doing so well, it's ridiculous but our 1st team just don't work together, in the same way

As a lifelong United fan I was not to celebrate 'like that', im surprised you could. Was I happy we got through? Yes but I was more relieved than celebrating with joy. I was so angry that we threw a 3-0 lead away to a championship side and was an inch away from them winning it 4-3. Every game is a disaster no matter who we play, so im at the point that I have lost faith in Ten Hag as he keeps making the same error of judgement in every single game.

After hearing Ferdinand's comments about Nicolas, I may have to agree with him. All those great strikers were able to score but had something missing for example movement. However, Jackson is the opposite. He has all the necessary skills, but he struggles to finish. I used to argue with others about his potential for improvement, but after his missed chance against City, I changed my mind 😂

We want to be challenging for the league next season not delay tactics like Tuchel or Southgate or Potter or DeZerbi or mismanaging by EtH cos we'll be better off with Ole or Outsider like Zidane than EtH cos EtH lacks people skills meaning wrong type of manager to take charge of our club.
