Don’t judge his work ethic by what he does in person… but what he does in private. If you really think talent will take you the level Leo was at, you’re delusional. Hard work is always required to some degree.
@hook85358 ай бұрын
Messi completed much earlier than anyone. 24/25, understood and could do things on the pitch maybe 2-3 people have ever been able to do. When you have that much ability and knowledge and smarts.. all you need to do it continue doing what you do off the field (which no one sees, possibly some friends) and just keep topping yourself up over the years, more free kick training (free training does more a lot for you, improves accuracy, improve strength of shot, improves shooting mechanics and timing of mechanics) Etc. just minimal things now, few runs and gym in offseason. Otherwise all topping up exercises and training. Then specialized stuff when he feels he needs it.

He needs a little to no introduction..... its CRISTIANO RONALDO..... People forget that Messi grew up with the Johan Cruyff philosophy since he was very young at Barca. He also had Pep as his coach in the most influential team (as far as tactics and technical ability) in the modern era. He also had various coaches like Scaloni, Maradonna, Koeman, Luis Enrique and Frank Rikjaard who vary wildly tactically one from the other. He has seen practically every game scenario, attacking scheme possible in his years at Barca. By the time Prince was his team mate Messi had so much experience he can be forgiven for being on his phone. Young kids need to know this.

Pep showed us that Messi’s play style is activated when he’s given more freedom on the pitch, allowed to move in various positions and have a playmakers role. He can create chances whilst also scoring goals if he pleases. I think that’s what makes Messi deadly, when he has the freedom to move around the field and be in various positions. Maybe that’s why he just chills out in those dressing room meetings, he knows he’s gonna be all over the pitch doing his own thing. A lot of players have said in interviews that most of the game, it just looks like he’s completely oblivious to the game and then all of a sudden, he’s creating something dangerous or scoring. Ferdinand said, he seldom comes near defenders and it’s hard to catch him because his position and movement is so unpredictable. Without a doubt, best player of all time, a joy to watch, incomparable.

Is this supposed to be sarcasm to mock Messi because you're failing incredibly hard at it. If his coach does not complain that means he trusts him, if his teammates are not complaining that means they trust him and he too trusts them. His former teammate is even praising him hard because he can do this and not underperform. And Messi definitely did not underperform in anyway. So what do you think you're doing here exactly?

@uchihamephisto6381 it's sarcasm bro, take a chill pill 💊 🤣 Secondly, our definition of humility and respect is vastly different worldwide. Even if you're a god, facetimming and chatting while your boss/manager/parents, etc, is addressing u or you+colleagues is disrespectful. They may not say anything to avoid embarrassing you, but they know u don't rate them. Subconsciously, you're telling them they are beneath u (which is pride). If you don't believe me, when next you are before your boss, start a facetime session with your wife or friends as your boss rambles on. Send me the outcome on this thread 😁
@uchihamephisto63817 ай бұрын
@@ots5891 Right. Which is why the coaches and players seemed to have a problem with it and it did NOT infact make them look up to Messi more. It's not like they've all repeatedly stated that Messi due to being Messi always gets special privileges which surprisingly all the players also came out in overwhelming support for when such statements are made. It:s not like the coaches and players flat out praise him for being able to do this also. I can see the strong disrespect they feel very well, not the overwhelming trust they have in Messi's capabilities as a four in one player.

This to me is the difference between Messi and Ronaldo. If Messi, with all the talent he has, worked as hard as Ronaldo the GOAT conversion wouldn't be close. But it happens when someone has that amount of talent there is almost no need to work as hard as others.

The thing is, Messi has an insane diet discipline, sleep discipline and training that no one hears about because he doesn’t parade it. This notion that Messi is pure talent is crazy. He’s pure talent but he also works a lot

This is why i have so much respect for C.Ronaldo and his work ethic, u can say Messi was almost lucky to be naturally born with the kind of talent that he have, agile body and football just looks natural on him. While ronaldo have to work his ass off to compete with Messi.

People always think Messi doesn't work harder than Cristiano. They forget that when he was little, Messi had a condition where his body couldn't grow taller, so he had to be injected with some kind of hormone every day and it was very painful. You can imagine how he would train under these conditions. Also he definitely has the pressure to prove himself and not underestimated because of his small body.
@alessandrozito70477 ай бұрын
Ronaldo had a severe heart condition growing up until he got it treated I’m not 100% sure but I think he still has it but it’s better taken care of, also Ronaldo lost his father at a young age his dad was his hero. So same applies for Ronaldo and he still trained harder than any other person. Ronaldo doesn’t drink soda or sugary things he sacrifices so much to stay in shape and that’s not including how much he works out and trains
@nejw8w9ws7 ай бұрын
@@alessandrozito7047everyone knows that.The story comes from her mother's interview with Daily Mail in 2009. At age 15 yo, Cristiano had a rare heart condition called tachycardia, which made his heart beat much faster than normal. The surgery was successful and then he was back on the field after a short recovery. I also know that Cristiano had a bitter childhood than Messi. I just want to remind people who think Messi doesn't work as hard as Cristiano.

That free kick will forever be one of the best I’ve ever seen. I mean, it was a full 28-29 yards out, against Alisson (who is/was one of the best keepers in the world. And the man put it LITERALLY in the top corner with pace and Alisson at full stretch. It was utterly magnificent

Well he’s crafted his role in La Masia from when he was a little boy. He knows exactly what the manager and his players need from him. A 15 conversion isn’t a thing when he’s got over 20 years of Barcelona DNA in him.
