@@christys8445 loved helping her, she was also crafting quilts, candles and feather hats.. often freaked out with random dead pheasants in the back room. Lol she’d pick up road kill to get the pheasant feathers.. 😆60’s Nebraska ❤️

Back in the fifties my great-grandfather built a Christmas tree base which is a beautiful Church, he took different colored bottles and cracked them up and made stained glass windows, it lights up inside and you look in the doorway you see the wooden church pews with little dolls dressed like people, up on the altar is the priest. He didn't forget anything in there. There's a little chalice and the altar does look like here in a church and he put little basket of flowers. Oh he's used those little plastic dolls that their eyes blink up and down. And the top of the church with the steeple is covered in snow, some glitter so it glistens, it's just beautiful!. it rotates around and around. shame my mother never wrapped and protected it, after all these years the snow on top has yellowed...

I saw that and I was purely awful. I feel bad for whoever that was directed towards. Not eating is just bad for your health. I know I have struggled recently with not eating and I'm trying to do better. ( dont be too concerned for me I just have a terrible memory and forget about eating , but its mainly when I'm home. When I'm anywhere else I remember to eat mainly because theres a schedule or someone tells me to eat. When I do remember to eat I eat like a normal person. I'm not doing it on purpose or anything I just forget. )

I really like that night light made with hydrogel ____? does anyone know where can buy this? Also they show this clear glass vase filled with water and the blue hydrogel stuff laying in the bottom, overnight the blue rises and it turns the whole thing blue then shows glowing as a night light, it glow so pretty. does anyone know? I'm sure there are other colors but this shade of blue is so pretty and I'm not even that into blue. 💙💤 😴🆒

On amazon they have a bunch. Garden centers have it. Joanns & Michael's carry it most of the time in the floral section. They even sell them at reptile stores because people use them to give water to their crickets that are kept as food for animals. It keeps them from drowning.

Make sure if you do this that you do it outside. The fumes are toxic but you will be ok outside with fresh air. Also make sure if anything melts off that you don't care where it falls on. Otherwise put aluminum foil on the ground underneath on the ground. 😊

U put hot glue on the glass rocks drops on the outside of a candle holder. Careful that the heat doesn't melt the hot glue and type glass drops melt and fall off. And again with the hot glue to hold the light fixture in the jack daniels bottle, be careful with the heat transfer and melting.

I tried doing this and the glass stones fall off after 5 minutes because they are too heavy.

Use E6000 epoxy. It's non toxic. It will take linger but will last. The surfaces are too smooth for them to grab hold and stick.You can also take sandpaper and ruff up they glass and then stones as well. It will give it a surface to grab. Hope that helps.😊

It would be fine. Wine bottles are incredibly durable and are heated to 1000°F when they are being made. There are many glass and crystal lamps made and used just like this bottle for oil lamps. You can buy oil lamps at stores today. There are lamps that are over 100 years old still being used for oil lamps. I wouldn't use one with little kids but if it is put in a safe place and won't be knocked over they are safe. They are good for when the power goes out as well.

@@debbiefox6846 There are differences between an Oil lamp you buy at the store (and even vintage oil lamps) and what is made in this video ... Im over 40 and I was also a bartender, so I have dropped my fair share bottles wine and liquor 🙀 AND SURPRISE some have broken 🙀. If you Throw a bottle it breaks !! The difference in most oil lamps I have seen that are BTW designed to be a lamp is they dont resemble an incendiary device! They also usually have a way to extinguish the wick. So Yeah I am FULLY aware oil lamps are a thing .

Oh yeah they are all over.. for a time they didn't sell a 'choking,' hazard .But I started finding them all over again. Hope you find them..Oh at H Lobby my son and I found the COOLEST Ones up at the counter.. and they where in different areas..So many uses..I too have a few..One even older than I was my Grandma's her Dad tilling the garden found it..A special name..it is multi color like Stone and a round yellow spot.. Ebay sells them .hugs

I'd never put myself through all that work because it would not work, they'd never stay up on the wall cause these are super heavy, just a small section of those are very very heavy and then the water would make it's way behind there and you'd have a huge nightmare to deal with! you'd be better off to go pay for a professional to put up your shower walls. I did and they did it so bad there was black mold growing, alot of broken tile etc. Cost big bucks after all

I have a kidney disease..Takes me down.. sadly I'm NOT the Mother i was..I am NOT the Me I was..Never will be..GOD GIVES HE HOPE..I Have FAITH.. I Have the will When I'm well to DO THIS .I PRAY FOR LONGER Good days.. I don't have money, I can't work.. So to learn this COOL ART YOU DO..And Others..
