My personal fav chains are figaro and curbs and the flat mariners. But my all time fav is the figaro. Iv always loved the figaro style with the long link 3 tight links. I got a bunch of chains n bracelets gold n silver and I have one 15mm 22.5" platinum figaro that was hand made my grandfather made it back in the 80s. It's extremely heavy very wide. It's worth a small fortune. He made it from platinum bullion bars n rounds. He wore it rarely n he made others as well from .9999 Gold bullion bars ect as well some small small large but nothing longer than 24" most are 22s. He passed away in 2006 n I got alot of his jewelry n coins n bars ect. N I collect my self so I got tons of silver n gold n palladium n platinum bullion n I even have 3 bars of rhodium their not big only 1 gram a pop but I have em I got em in his stash lol. N when I seen em I didn't even know what rhodium was. But now their worth a ton n I hang on to em n if I ever need the $$ I got all that bullion n chains ect to fall back on thanks to him n my collection since I was 15 16 yrs old. I'm now 34 n been buying chains n silver n gold n platinum n palladium every two weeks for the last 14 yrs now. N I wanna do what he done but I don't even know how or what to do to build my own chain from my own bullion stash lol I was thinking maybe take it up north to NY or maybe out towards LA one summer To a jeweler n have em do it for me but that would prob cost a damn fortune probably. N dude wanna know what's insane?? You know these chains we love so much? Their price mark up is a ridiculously high. Silver chains are mainly 92.5% .9999 silver and 7.5% Nickle or copper ect alloy and cost alot vs a 5 Oz or 10oz solid pure .9999 silver bullion bar that's actually more pure and heavier than the actual chains.. Gold is stupid bad for it. Like 10k hollow figaros at Walmart cost $350 and don't weigh much maybe 8 grams... and thats only 10k hollow 8mm 10mm wide chain vs 8 grams of solid .9999 pure gold that wouldn't cost as much.. so where paying more the design patients than the actual metal itself which is ridiculous.

22 is the perfect size for bigger dudes who don't like that choker look, I have a 6mm boxlock cuban and 4mm rope stack with my lion head pendant from haraves and an 8mm boxlock bracelet, picking up the compass 2.0 from haraves, best silver pendants on the market imo.

I buy alot of my sterling silver chains vintage you can find good deals on eBay I always ask for the the weight I got a sterling silver 5mm 30 inch rope chain for $100 I have a cleaning cloth and soft brass brush and buffing pads it weighs almost 2 ounces looks like new

Stack an 8mm cuban with a 5mm rope 22 inches that way you can only unbutton one button and have your chains show, that's why I don't like 24 cause you gotta undo 2 or 3 buttons to see anything, also craftd london is the best place to get them from had mine for over a year and still perfect condition and got a shit ton of compliments from women

its too thick to stack that's why if you get a thinner chain with a pendant and stack with a 24 its clean

I have a 7.8mm Rhodium 925 Italian 24” curb chain. I think the rhodium doesn’t look as good for some reason. I got it as a gift. I’m a piece of shit, apparently Rhodium is higher quality but I really like the Normal silver look. I’m hoping it wears off.
