You guys should have a law when a fire truck it out with siren on! All vehicles should move aside both way to let you guys go! You guys are rescuing life or to avoid the fire get bigger that you will not having a hard time to control it!! Every minute is critical to save people

I know it may be a strange question to some and I understand the circumstances of why not but I noticed that there are practically no ladder or rescue dedicated/equipped vehicles. So i have to ask, since every department is volunteer is it not financially viable or is it just the logistics/conditions you guys work in that makes it either impossible or not viable? Curious to hear back, great job guys!

Fire department works in a different way in the Philippines. Volunteers are mostly private entities that own and operate their own trucks, that's why there's so many different variations of firetrucks and the cheapest often are Japan surplus trucks. The government firetrucks do have their dedicated specialized equipment but honestly they can't deploy ladder trucks on narrow residential streets which most of Manila has.

there's a ladder trucks here in the philippines but the number of them is not huge unlike engines, pumpers and tankers. maybe they prioritize the water tanked firetrucks since the philippines has a little number of fire hydrants (some hydrants are defective because of illegal water connection and stealing its iron). The ladder trucks in the philippines is very rare to use in fire operations because ladder trucks responds to any emergency call that the high-rise building is involve

Every alarm is equal to different number of firetrucks that will respond. So when Task Force (Bravo,Alpha,etc.) is announced, all of the firetrucks available to respond can go there ASAP
