5th gen 4runner ( 2010-current ) front sway bar link replacement

Күн бұрынin this short video, I will show you how to change the front /and or rear sway bar links on a 2010-current 5th generation t4r.
tools needed/used
floor jack/s and or jack stand to support vehicle
21mm lug wrench or impact
17mm wrench
6mm Allen wrench
hammer
small punch
3/4 wrench ( aftermarket hardware may be different)
torque wrench for wheels upon reassembly

I’m at 12 years and 202,000 miles on my 5th gen 4 runner. Replaced these suckers 3 times so far. Always the driver side but usually do everything in pairs. Easy repair after the first time doing it and learning to pack some wax into the 10mm hex hole so it doesn’t fill with corrosion and become a nightmare to come off.

This is the best on tube. Only wish you’d use stand for safety in lieu of second hyd jack. They do fail and without notice!

Your right, i always use a stand when im under it. When doing things within relative safety, i just use the jack worst that happens is it damages my rotor . Valid point none the less
