Today im doing a walk around of my capable overland toyota 4runner build. It’s lifted, rooftop tent, tons of camping setup mods etc. I built this truck with off roading and overlanding in mind. The idea of being able to load up the family, and head out to wherever camp is without having to worry about anything. And thats just what it does for us! Heres a quick list of some of the major itemson the rig i went over in this build video. Backwoods adventure mods front bumper, old man emu bp-51 suspension, auxbeam lighting, victory 4x4 roof rack and accessories, tuff stuff alpha rooftop tent, ssw dakar wheels, 33 bfg tires, 270 awning, custom rear storage area.

That's really a nice build! One thing with hitch mounted carriers is that over time, they can cause cracking in the hitch receiver. You might consider gusseting the receiver. From a production standpoint, you should play with keeping the background music lower. You put some great mods in that truck that are really helpful to know about. Thanks.

very clean build man you gave me some good ideas. One thing I use that would really be helpful are battery terminal connectors I got on amazon. Makes the battery wiring setup so much easier to work with

I like it man! I also got rid of my wooden storage. Too much weight to hold some basic stuff. I went with Ridgid tots since that's what I had laying around but those Walmart ones look solid.

just a word of advice. i would probably not admit you are watching movies while you drive. if you get into an accident and its your fault a lawyer will go after you with that. love the build. thats my next 4runner as mine is 20 years old with that tried and true 2uz-fe but its time to move on. please drive safe.

Does this rig have the body mount cut? If not do you get rubbing with that suspension and wheel setup?

I have yet to do a body mount cut, but the tires do rub a little bit on the body mount full lock reverse

Front camera, then walk around lights so you can light things up around the truck. 😊 Great mods and fantastic job trying to keep things minimalist vs bougie.
