I'm a big fan of PV and u cannot compare these two bands, but NCCU did a nice job for their size.

What I appreciate about central even though their size is smaller than in the pass they still travel the MEAC. One of the few bands that do travel the MEAC🤗

I didn't expect the intensity factor from NCCU but I like this I must say! I knew already knew what PV they been rebuilding for the last 3 to 4 years. Great job both bands

I was there and NCCU was loud and very good for their size, the sound on this video does them no justice. I liked PVU a lot, but NCCU was no push over!!!!!

Leonard Carter ok I was there as well sitting in the middle section 225 and I have to disagree NCCU was no competition and sound barely made it across the field! It’s bad when you have 12 t bones, 6 trumpets, 5 Melos, 6 euphoniums to put any kind of fight with a 240 piece band unless you are Texas Southern or maybe Southern

Leonard Carter I guess I heard we something different I started off in section 103 but PV drums was so loud and the sun was blazing I opted for the over hang to avoid the sun and what I heard from NCCU was mostly tubas and drums which bother sounded good!

Coming from a PV Alum and band head, the Storm is amazing but NCC definitely held their own. I had to look up a few times to see which band was playing. Both bands sound amazing.

They are much better than theyve been in the past. Im not sure what you see but I prefer them over the Foxes. Much cleaner and together. Sorry you dont see it.

I don't know Player..... The trombones and baritones are dominant...but the brass need to clean up....too much going on in the melodies on some songs....and if it ain't tight...its not musical....its clutter.

C B yeah i felt the tubas should be stronger to say there are so many. This should be an interesting year in the SWAC similar to 2006 when most bands increased in size.

ChicagoMarchingBands turn out for NCCU was good because they closer to the ATL there might have been 500 people on PV side which is sad they are one of the worse traveling fan base. I think committees should take that in consideration when planning the MEAC/SWAC challenge

Nccu got bad arrangement. Imo. They got too many parts where individual sections featured and drums rest. If they played as a whole they sound great.

Keep hearing talk about PV and #1 in the SWAC. If this is considered #1 then we need to go ahead and declare a down year in the SWAC. No hate towards PV I like their style, but this ain't no where near a #1 band in the SWAC. Keep grinding PV you're headed in the right direction. Should get a lot better as the season progresses.

Keep it up NCCU you sound great for your size clean it up a little. PV it sound like everybody playing their own thing balance it out and play do not forget good tone and quality just because you got numbera doesn't mean play like a certain someone TUBAS WHERE ARE YOU?????? Drumline doing good BOOK WISE we need an update some if not most are from last year and maybe 2016 but overall Good Job #StillnotSatisfied #PVAlum #BOX

Just like the twirlers lol. And my alma mater (Txsu) has both and I hate it lol. College level it should be just the band and dancers. That's just my opinion. For hbcus lol

I disagree regarding eliminating flags from any band. If they are choreographed in the show correctly they can be very dynamic to the show. However, some programs don't have them and that's their decision. However, our hbcus had majorettes, but schools phased them out do to most dropping their batons on the field. That decision is up to the director.

PV let me down with this mediocre battle. I thought they would be ready for SU this year but this says a lot about even getting an invite to the Crankfest. PV yall sound like Alcorn right now and that's not good. 2017 y'all were bringing pressure, but this year sounds like y'all went backwards. SU all day!!!!!
