I could watch these two all day. There’s something cool about seeing them almost be civil, almost frenemies. Such talent and great chemistry.

I wish in the third or fourth season there had been a plot or story arc that featured Alexis and Krystal willingly choosing to work together to figure out a mystery, sort of an unlikely alliance-- albeit temporary. It could've been delicious and also hilarious at times.

Thanks to this series, I was able to get every public holiday, birthday, weekend and new years eve night off because everyone of the 500 women I worked with needed the night off to watch Dallas and Dynasty.

Same here. It's amazing how much they spent on each episode, between cast paychecks, fresh flowers, jewels, furs. Even the food looked amazing. I'd hate to learn what was shelled out each season. Yikes, LOL. Today you couldn't do this--- well, not on such a lavish level. The Dynasty reboot (CW/Netflix) looked good ... the sets and fashions and furniture ... but not quite as opulent or tasteful as the 1981 show. Although I loved the new La Mirage interiors, so exotic and inviting.

Definitely. Reminds me: They occasionally did a running gag in which Alexis calls the guy by the wrong name because the previous receptionist is no longer there. So she calls Roger "Fred" and calls Lionel by the name "Warren", etc. Which gives the impression to viewers that she fires her secretary very often, or the guys quit really fast.

Seasons 3 and 4 of Dynasty were phenomenal. By the end of Season 2 they were really starting to hit their stride. I never got into Dallas, although, I remember it being on in the house and my mom watching it.

When she played on the The Hardy Boys as Nacy Drew, she was Awesome and she and Frank Hardy had great chemistry!! then out of no where I see this other chick who called herself Nacy Drew and I'm like, WTF!!!! then I see her, Pamala, on Dynasty and I got used to her playing Falon and then she quits. I'm like, WTF!!! lol

Yes, putting them together for the same cause would have been excellent, just temporarily. Can you imagine if, in season 3, there was some kind of little mystery that they both discovered together and chose to temporarily team up and investigate ... and maybe in one scene they end up quickly hiding together in some office closet to spy on someone. The dialogue and the whole dynamic would have been delightfully hilarious. It almost writes itself. Shame that the writers (Edward DeBlasio, Eileen Mason and pals) didn't think of doing that.

Alexis is the CEO of a billion dollar publicly traded company....it could not be that easy to walk into a ceo's office..EVER..the only individual who cld plausibly get away with it cld be a spouse.krystle and alexis were cordial at best but friends in the slightest..it wld be the height of disrespect for her to walk into alexis's office..if i looked up and she was barging into my office the 1st words out of my mouth wld be call security.....shit alexis says....could be a show on its own...."i'm always honest....love your sable"...lol...as i have watched interviews with joan collins and the quick witted shady remarks she makes have come to c that there is alot of alexis in her n it was not a great stretch for her to play this role...but even with all that said...NOBODY.but NO BODY cld bring n outfit to life like Collins n quick wit n line delivery?....THE BEST...

Maybe someone can give some idea about this: Why is that Alexis 2.0 was NOTHING like the OG Alexis? All A 2.0 ever did was flounce around, act like a cat in head when it came to Blake, scheme a little when it came to Fallon, and be vapid. Alexis was a hero(ine) to young girls (and a certain 10% of boys) in the 80's. A.20 is a waste of screentime and of a character in my opinion.

Because in the new version, she’s not the main component like in the original, Fallon is. The new version tried to make the women ambitious and dramatic from the get go versus in the original version where they were more pushed off to the side, that’s why they brought in Joan Collins in the second season to be a female JR Ewing and bring the drama to the show.

@@bkynbiker19 Sammy Jo, our favorite ice cream parlor faced girl--- always scheming somewhere. There were long stretches without Heather Locklear on Dynasty but her presence was always felt because this was the sort of character who you knew would make things troublesome for others, sooner or later. And she always seemed to turn up again, like a bad penny.

Did Krystle have the same hairstyle throughout the entire series?

Yup! I remember that bothered me! Linda’s hair was the same in almost every episode. Once, she had it swept up off her face with no bangs and she looked great for an event she attended with Blake, but then, the next scene, it was back to the feathered bangs, parted in the middle, ends flipped inward.
